Aston Villa’s Unai Emery spoke to the media ahead of Thursday’s Europa Conference League semi-final first leg against Olympiacos.
The match will be the Villans’ first European semi-final since 1982, a year in which they won the European Cup. It remains the only continental trophy the club has won to date.
Emery’s side are the last remaining English club in European competition this season, after both Manchester City and Liverpool exited the Champions League and Europa League at the quarter final stage.

People always complain about the English of Ten Hag but it's better than Emery. I never understand a word of what Emery is saying

Emery has a sort of agricultural English, he cannot articulate the language properly yet, but the context is clear.

Agree but he just learnt the language when he signed to Arsenal and then when he went back to Spain he stopped practicing I guess. At least he doesn’t bring a translator. Even can sound odd he tries to speak English for respect and we should recognize the effort
