I agree, I was introduced to this show via reruns on PBS on Saturday nights in the early 1990's as a boy. Still one of my favorite spins on the legend of Robin Hood, and I still remember this particular episode well.

Saturdays, fuk, it should be saint day, in Poland this magni tv series was played at Thorsdag, Fredag.

Da gebe ich dir vollkommen Recht. Und der Clannad-Soundtrack machte die Serie noch einmal so viel besser. Ich konnte es seinerzeit kaum erwarten, bis endlich die neue Folge auf ZDF lief.

So Epic!! The brings back so much memories I will never forget this episode, it stuck with me even till my older years The apparition of the devil if I'm not mistaken hunted me for a while. The song strange land fits so perfectly with this video.. This was one of the best series growing up and Michael Praed, Ray Winston all did an awesome job portraying the characters.

Awesome video. These were probably my favourite episodes from the series as a whole. They never show anything of such quality on a Saturday night anymore, as when this was first broadcast in the UK.

Albion, one of the seven swords of Wayland charged with the powers of light and darkness. I always thought they should have kept a few of the other swords when they had the chance.

@@simonfernandes6809 I think that, just as Albion was tied to Herne's son, the other swords were uniquely linked to their previous owners. The Merrie's would have been unable to weild them against others. They were meant to remain lost.

The song is called "Strange Land" and the artist is Clannad. The song is part of the soundtrack to the Robin of Sherwood tv-series shown in the video. Clannad released an album called "Legend" which contains the full soundtrack to the tv-series including this song.
