So when someone (nancy,robin...) shows him a bit of this he wants it to be forever and considers it love and starts to develop an infatuation but does he really love them or he just loves the idea of them loving him?.....idk I may be talking absolute bs too but it's something that I've wondered from the start.

this makes sense, he is that type of guy after all, that's why i dont necessarily think steve and nancy go well together in the longterm. They find each other attractive but it's all about the attention and the idea of loving someone i guess? Idk im not the best judge of this stuff but steve needs someone in his life like robin. Nancy though- on her side she needs someone who can match her intelligence and just be at her side, i think robin is the best choice by these standards. Either that or Nancy shouldn't be with anyone at all, she has shown great development on her own and needs to get out into the world in newspaper and journalism. Robin could easily fly at her side with this but so can Jonathon (with his photography), idk. Sorry this is so long thanks for reading homie!

@@hazxxl6774 agreed. Warning- references events of late s4 Steve and Nancy were sweet when they had their little highschool romance in s1 but it was just that- a highschool romance. It was cute but wasn’t destined for long term, and tbh I think that Nancy knows this. Robin and Nancy are perfect balance of each other, and they are productive when working together. They formed a tight bond *very* quickly and if Robin was a straight guy I think WAY more ppl would assume Robin was the next partner for Nancy (both fans and characters in the universe). I would be so happy if they got together in s5 (preferably after Vickie is killed off, no offense Vickie but they need shared trauma), although I do think that if written well Jonathan and Nancy would be nice endgame

Tbh I do like Jonathan and Nancy together, but after season 3 their relationship kind of just hit rock bottom. I agree that Steve is someone who easily gets infatuated with someone who shows him a little affection, plus putting him with Nancy just doesn’t make sense after the character growth both of them had. Robin actually does compliment Nancy’s personality well, the only problem would be Vickie (obviously) and the fact that Nancy has not really shown any signs that she might be bi or interested in girls. Tbh unless they can fix Nancy and Jonathan’s relationship or make Robin and her relationship progress, Nancy should be left without a love interest.

if i see one more person saying "poor steve" im gonna cry. lets appreciate how robin came out to someone in the EIGHTIES. when being gay was extremely frowned upon. steve couldve easily laughed, got up and left but she still had the bravery to do it because she trusted him. ❤️

The actual scene kind of broke my heart a little bit though because the entire season I was really shipping Robin and Steve together and in this scene I was like yes it's finally happening, and then Robin came out and I was so sad that they weren't going to be together, however, I do like that Robin does like girls, I do think it fits her character very well, but stillllllll..... @@alexhails its obvious the writers wanted us to ship them up to this point so we’d feel the same way steve did. it’s not a good thing if u were assuming she’s lesbian without any confirmation or any hints at all. it was the writer’s intention to make us think they’ll end up together

When you want Nancy and robin to be a thing but you know you will be watching it right next to your mom so if it happens you can’t act happy and scream like I would want to 🥲
