It's because the real interview he had to sit through an Arabic translation everytime he was asked something AND for every response. I'm so glad they edited it on this channel. It's literally twice as long in the unedited version on the ufc channel.

Robert Whitaker is similar to Sean Strickland. Neither of them really take risks when they fight, and their fights are tepid, and are really more like sparring matches. Whitaker could have blasted through Darren Till like it was a joke, he could have put him down in 20 seconds if he really tried. Imagine if Whitaker really tried to destroy his opponents? See his destruction of Brad Tavares to see what he's capable of.

I think DDP will bulldoze him. the counter to Izzy is to do long combos and travel forwards a long way... he doesn't move back very much. he is great at evading 2-3 shot combos but he often stands his ground and uses head/torso movement. if I'm ddp, i prepare to weather a counter strike in exchange for wading in and grabbing izzy. if he can get him down i think he'll be too strong. ddp kicks also extremely underrated

I was more excited about this fight than Connor vs Chandler. I was so bummed when both fell through. I love Whittaker. Khamzat is a way more entertaining matchup. I was excited to see him against a true top middleweight. Robert has a huge advantage now though. When you go through a full camp and are peaked and fight a guy on short notice without a full camp you have a clear advantage. I’d like to see Whittaker vs Strickland next and the winner get the title shot

Like I said, while Aliskerov is a top sambo wrestler, in the cage, it rarely makes up for his main offence like Khabib or Khamzat or Usman ... Hence the fight will be on the feet. Problem there is that Rob has good distance management unlike Ikram. Hence, Ikram is likely to get pieced up despite how good he is
