You do understand this can be done via midi and software. Right? Anyway, not taking away from the work to actually DO this. It's awesome. Very much appreciated.

@@codersexpo1580 I wish that were possible! Yes, you could in theory convert the transients from each mic to midi data (or use triggers on each drum), but converting that into readable sheet music is an entirely different thing. The amount of work you need to do to clean up and check the data is essentially the same work as transcribing it by hand in the first place (though it can help as a guide, I suppose). In my experience, the technique is only practical/useful for simple transcriptions where the source midi data can be easily quantized.

@@DailyChops My hats off to you because you're an amazing musician and technician who puts out incredible work constantly. Transcribing this note for note is a major feat and no simple task. I support this channel every chance I get and wish you continued success.

Meinl Byzance Foundry reserve 22 ... The other Cymbals he is playing as far as I could clearly see them: 15 Foundry Reserve hats 20 Sand crash 20 extra dry thin crash i am not sure about the stack but my guess is a 10 vintage splash over a 10 extra dry splash
