Played rugby against Robert Plant in 1985!!! Plant lived near to Monmouth and sometimes turned out for his pub team. We were from Abergavenny. It was a Sunday morning. Pub rugby, everyone was pissed. Everyone was saying “that’s Robert Plant!!!” Fuck me. I was 16 and spoke to him afterwards. We all did. He looked good. Tight leather jeans and cool shirt. Thin, but he got stuck in. We tackled him, but he didn’t care. Loads of respect for him. Legend

I don’t think any other person on earth has giving me so much joy and happiness than this man Robert Plant. I had the great honor and privilege to see Led Zeppelin in 71,72,73,and final time 3/5/1975 in Dallas still have my ticket stubs and they are my prized possession.

Go Jonsey, That was a great interview. Where I come from it was pie and green mashed peas. A "Pie Flota" Everyone loved going to the pie cart for one of them when they could or they were repulsed by it. But with a fresh quality pie they were pretty good.

You could tell Robert's having a great time and totally unfiltered, he could have gotten all the sordid Zeppelin stories out of him if he wanted to. (Pamela DesBarres has been friends with Jonesy and Plant for decades now). But if you hear the Howard Stern interview, he starts bristling and clamming up. Not sure how Jonesy felt about Plant being a bigger Damned fan over Pistols, but it's all about the music and energy that is rock & roll, and they end off doing a Dion cover (who is still performing and putting new music out).
