I hope you’re okay, sending you all the love and strength in the world 🤍🖤 I never used to be a massive Twilight fan but I remember reading the books for the first time when I was 12 cause all my friends loved them, and then it was kind of assumed that it was okay to be 12 and live in a dream world and disappear in films and novels. I miss my biggest worry being how to wear my hair to school or if my friends were going to the cinema on the weekend. Though in a way, it’s really touching that all these years later where the world is in a rough place, that we’ve come back to movies and books like this. It’s an escape but more than that; reading all these comments, I feel less alone. Hope you are all doing okay 🖤🖤

I've made people listen to his music several times without telling them who it was,until after they gave there opinion. Every single person loved the music and admitted if they knew who it was first they may have given a different opinion. I don't think that's very fair but I love him in ALL he does. He is a blues genius that gives me serious feels.

Sarah Mccullough so many ppl hate on Robert, I get so angry when ppl do that, he’s such a humble person.

Driving in the car with my wife a few years back and this song comes on and I'm on the edge of my seat asking her "who is this?" And she replies "I'm not sure...I'm listening to the twilight soundtrack" so i pull up the track listings to see its the guy who played Edward.... Someone tell me why hes doing movies over music? Hes not a terrible actor or anything but he's got soul! Guy needs to truly consider doing this full time. The feelings hes conjuring up with his sound is phenomenal!

I actually think him gluing all his words together is a pretty artistic because it's puts more passion into his singing and more feeling and pain. It makes me wanna cry actually. So many feels. The reason I think this is because when I'm playing my guitar and random singing words that come from a painful place in my heart i murmur them more then sing them out. I close my eyes and just let them fall it makes me really feel, I cry but softly letting one tear drizzle down my cheek.. and it gives me goosebumps. I love him for singing like this.. It's the most beautiful feeling

"you'll learn to hate me, but still call me baby" hit me hard. The entire song did. My ex husband ironically told me years ago that this song would be us. He was my best friend and he cheated constantly and I kept fighting and after a while I finally gave up and learned to hate him. I was in love with him and when we separated it was very hard and I was so broken for the longest time. But now im with someone who actually loves me and cares and treats me right. Without him, I have it all now. So it's true when he says "so hold on".

When I first heard this song, I was an 8th grade girl, obsessed with twilight and struggling with life-threatening clinical depression. Eleven years and some surgeries later, I'm a happily gay man in his twenties, loving life. A lot's changed but I still love this song lol

I think the way he sings is absolutely beautiful. He’s not that hard to understand; the way he sings makes you listen with an intensity and sincerity to what he’s singing, his voice, and the music ya know. It’s great. People miss are too focused on criticizing the structure of how he sings and missing the message, the rawness, and the pain that this bittersweet song brings. And which is probably one of the reasons he never pursued a music career. People are just too judgmental these day. Its tragic really.

I first listened to it when I was like 11 (i had watched twilight before listening to this song but i didn’t pay that much attention to the soundtrack since i was very young and all i could focus on was robert’s/edward’s face) and now i’m 17 and i listen to this song like four times a year. yes, i listen to one of my favorite songs four times a year. it hurts so much that i can’t listen to it often. but i often catch myself singing this part of the lyrics: “she’s saying oh please, i’m in love”. i’ve never experienced heartbreak nor have i been in love but the feeling he put into these words changed me the day i listened to this song for the first time, 6 years ago. i can’t explain what i feel when i listen to it but it’s magical. i love him as an actor (and by the way, i do like twilight), as a person and as a singer. he could give so much to the music industry. but i’m glad he’s like our little secret. he has such an old soul. i keep thinking that someone out there listens to this song and feels the same way as me. oh well, i’ll start commenting on this video every time i come back, so that i can rant about it and robert pattinson at least four times a year!

Just came out of a grippy sock daycation. For whatever reason, this is a soothing song to hear.

I like that this song is really more like poetry. Better than modern-day/pop stuff.
