Big respect for Robert, never liked him before, I was probably just jealous. He's standing up for dudes who like games and he gets it. Can't believe the disrespect coming from Zoe, maybe it's some "inside" thing and it doesn't come across right in the final cut, but she was really brutal and not at all empathetic. She gave me the vibes of someone who used to bully nerds in high school. Wasn't cool then, not cool now.

After Twilight Pattinson spent a good chunk of time doing indie films. The Lighthouse and Good Time stand out, althought incredibly brutal imo. Besides that he's played characters in The King and Tenet. Unfortunately, since many of his films are indie, some of his best work during this time is in average or mediocre films. Like, his acting is good but the films themselves aren't. But his goal was to shed the Twilight vampire persona and reinvent himself, and he's done so. I'd say he's got the potential to be one of the best characters actors of the next gen, right up there with DiCaprio, Oldman and Pheonix. Having said that, I can't stomach most of his indie work. Too brutal and nihilistic for my taste. But I think that just shows how well he acts. Even his Batman was a very dark rendition of the character. But imo the best I've ever seen after Dark Knight

If your a normie and also like the Christian Bale Batman trilogy. Then give it a shot. For me personally. I'm a comic book guy who's pretty anal about adaptations following the source material. Plus I don't like the Hollywood agenda when they race /gender swap establish characters. So like all things a do. I voted with my wallet and didn't watch that film. Edit: Just checked out his film library. Lot of chick flicks and a few other boring movies. No highly physical action or martial arts movies. So it really baffles me on his casting as younger Bruce Wayne. Probably to get more of the female demo in the theater.

6:20 I would like to further emphasize what Zoe says here about just being "beaten up by *some guy*" Because Bruce Wayne isn't just "Some Guy" he's legitimately the "prince of Gotham City." He's practically picked, on as a joke, by most low-level members of Gotham's underbelly. A spoiled baby that was thrust into the light, unwillingly, when his politician of a father was gunned down before his very own eyes. People who have been hurt by the criminal element, and see his story, they view it as nothing more than a spectacle to laugh at; to make their own pain easier to bare. This almost adds a completely different layer to the character. Imagine you get your ass handed to you by Baron Trump and then he just slinks off into the shadows like some kind of panther or mountain lion. A: You would probably just off yourself, after that B: A dude who looks like Patrick Bateman in Peaky Blinders is way less *intimidating* than a dude dressed like a paramilitary Bat

Robert Pattinson is good looking and acted as Cedric Diggory, Edward Cullen, Ephraim Winslow and now Bruce Wayne, compared to him u ain't sht. FFVII has a story that rivals Oscar worthy movies, so pipe down and do not judge. Gaming is the biggest entertainment industry now, so hollyweird can go fk itself. Nah, what most people do when they don't understand something is ask.. join in on the hype, not be dismissive and pretend like you're better than others by sitting out their conversation. At 10:30 she asks about the snail story which is a conversation between the interviewer and Robert. She could have sat that one out too but she chose to get involved and ask about the story. Not asking and being dismissive shows you in fact don't care in the slightest and shows disrespect to the topic at discussion, and in turn the people discussing it. This is very reminiscent of being in school and popular kids dismissing less popular people's hobbies (to put it lightly).

This interviewer was high key rude asf during the Final Fantasy part... genuinely made me angry. They were literally having an irrelevant conversation that had zero relation to the film they were promoting and Zoe was being left out of the interview. She told them that they could talk about it and have their own conversation because she didn't know what Final Fantasy was. Hell, I barely knew what that was initially nor do I care for it. But she was not judging them and for him to accuse her of that? ? boy stfu. At least she was trying to understand and listen/learn from Robert (because he's her friend and she cares). Also, her take on how women, more specifically female characters and how they are treated in fiction/media is PURE FACTS. The women in that Final Fantasy game are only side pieces for the male protagonist. One is there to be the innocent, kind, ideal wife, healer girl and the other is there to be the sexy, promiscuous, short-skirted, one who beats people up. The Final Fantasy fans are only mad at Zoe bc she called them out on their bullshit. It's a shame because his first few questions were great.

Have you even played the game? Aerith is the last member of a race whose spiritually in-tune with the planet and acts as its guardian. She's the healer because their connection to the planet gives them an affinity for magic that other people don't have. In fact, Aerith is the most important person in the entire plot, as its entire point is about protecting the environment and she embodies that, literally. God forbid women protect and heal things that are important to them. Besides, there are other female characters and none of them are healers. One is the hand to hand fighter and the other is the thief. Quit being a sourpuss that has to shit on things other people like just because you don't like/understand them, nobody on earth likes people who do that sorta shit.
