Anyone following NBA basketball in the 90's and 00's remembers the infamous Big Shot Bob. If he was on your team, 1 minute left in the 4th Quarter, you always yelled to the TV, "PASS IT TO HORRY!" It didn't matter if Kobe, Hakeem or Duncan was on the floor. Just pass the damn ball to Horry, for the win! And if Horry wasn't on your team, you would fear him in the 4th! He may not have been the main reason for those Finals wins, but without him, none of that would happen. Best role player ever!

Dude has more rings, years in the league and more playoff appearances than MJ but never made an All-Star team but was one of the most clutch shooters ever. His ability to be on the right team at the right time to win championships. Dude was probably average at best but the most clutch shooter ever. He never failed ever.

2003 game 5 Lakers vs Spurs in the semifinals. He missed the game winning 3. In and out. SA stopped the Lakers chance at a 4peat. 4 games to 2. Horry became a Spurs the following year. So he’s not always clutch. 😉

@@JulianGarcia-mc6csBulls fans in the city were rooting for Sacramento since the Bulls were weak and rebuilding. That was a hardworking, gritty ass, deep Sacramento team and we respected that. Y'all would've went all the way but the refs did y'all dirty. They tried to do the same thing against the Ben Wallace Pistons in the finals but that defense was too much for the Lakers and the refs to handle.

Jordan and Kobe was a clutch player but this is something else. I thought that Horry was a good mediocre player but now I see he had nerves and balls of steel. When the pressure and stakes were the highest he couldn't really miss. This guy was something else. Most people collapse under this kind of this pressure he became better. I thought he was a lucky player to win 7 rings but now I understand why it was necessary to play him for those teams.

I remember reading a Sports Guy article about the 2002 Finals, and Simmons asked who from then could even play in the current Finals of that day - he said only Shaq, Kobe, Kidd, and Horry. That is pretty strong company for a so called role player. I would take Horry on my team seven days a week and twice on Sundays. "You'd better tell him to read a paper or something."

I was so happy, thinking LA was about to lose. He looked at me and asked “you think it’s over don’t you?” Next play, ball was kicked out to Horry and he knocked down the game winning 3. Man, I was hot 😡😡😤😤. 😂😂
