At the 1983 Tony Awards, the Uris Theatre was officially renamed The Gershwin and that year's awards show was a tribute to Gershwin with songs sung by numerous stars. This is Jack Lemmon introducing Robert Guillaume singing a song from "Porgy and Bess".
I don't own this song or video content. It was the year "Cats" won the Tony for Best Musical and I got to share the stage as a member of that cast. I saved the awards telecast on VHS tape.
