The great intellectual George uses the term Religious Liberty, like it is a term that is beyond measure, when it actually comes virtually close to Theocracy. Then George does the whole Leninist plot-against concocting. Religious freedom does not give anybody the right to discriminate, because we are a pluralistic Republic. Note he never backs any of this up. Ireland also made gay marriage legal.

You are correct. Mr. George feels religious people have special rights to discriminate, and even worse that they are supreme in society over everyone else. He does not acknowledge gay love or humanity, thus no right to marry. Legal marrgiage gives straight couples Tax Advantages, rights to be the final say in medical situations, etc etc. Before gay marriage gay people had no rights in those regards, and it was unequal justice before the law. George wants to revert back to all of that.

Just because someone has years of intellectual expreience in Academia doesn't mean they "win" or have any decency towards their fellow human beings. Mr.George is heavily influenced by Plato. Plato's Republic is not a democracy. It is set up as a a dictorship for the "smart" humans, who know better, rule everyone else. I would not want to live in Plato's Republic, or a Theocracy that Mr. George seems so fond of pursuing. Ask any women in a Red State who is having a horrible preganacy how much freedom she has, or even any regard for her life to life, over a dead fetus in her womb.
