@@christina5266basically it’s a fact that people stopped recognising rdj out of marvel. The man had great movies and has such a talent but all he did in the last 12 years was bunch of marvel movies and a very very few movies outside the franchise. Now I’m not saying he’s bad in marvel, he’s the best but the franchise is bigger than Tony stark alone and that means it’s a kinda bad phase for an actor in terms of showing his acting capabilities. Hope I make sense, I just really wish rdj had done some other movies in the last decade apart from marvel movies.

Sharing the Oppenhomies joy...so happy for RDJ, one of the often underrated greats.

Funny how he lost to a Nolan directed performance the last time he was nominated (nominated for TROPIC THUNDER and lost to Heath Ledger for THE DARK KNIGHT) and is now himself the frontrunner for a Nolan directed film this time around.

You know, I think they’re both mature enough of me I don’t know for sure obviously, but I assume that Christopher Nolan realize that essentially Robert Denny Junior deserved it, but there was a lightning in a bottle performance by Heath ledger, so obviously he was the runner-up and the humility for Robert Downey Jr. to realize an except that films arereally the directors vision so good for him for making the right choice

Omg. He made me tear up. How poetic. I watched this masterpiece on Peacock last night. Important film. I grew up being traumatized by those air raid drills, was a no nuker in my teens. Still am at 70. It was at the forefront when I was young. I fear this generation doesn't understand what nuclear war would mean. Let's educate them. Let's vote out those who would sacrifice complex life on earth for their momentary wealth and power. We know what it takes for evil to prevail. Don't let it. So 🆒😎. I didn't know the BAFTA AWARDS was till this Year. 😢Pretty Sad 😢 alot of years lost celebrating my fav actors and actresses and movies.😊

His work was stunning. One second think on that sentence...... he supported the other actors and yet was amazing.... Another one second pause is required here. Hollywood needs to use his great talents as we (the public) want to see them bloom to their limit. BTW...Cillian outshone him with his understated stance in every scene! Now that is mechanics and why I like RDJ is his willingness to risk himself. Cillian needs to accept the fact that the camera adores him. Both actors can deliver in spades by just using subtlety

And RDJ is great at doing speeches, I've noticed. But what is wrong here with Gillian Anderson? Could she possibly smile any less? I hardly recoginzed her, but I also hardly recognized Cate when she presented Cillian's award.
