Big agreement with rob Just finished reading lords of easy money. And discusses this even further. Rigged game inflation only benefits the people with assets.
Us Americans have a very myopic view of todays world and history -- for a brief period we have known relative freedom, however with a very rapid closing of the window, from 1913 until now. The monumental push from behind closed doors of 1913, Interal revenue Act, Federal Reserve Act, 16th Amendment (reversed rule against taxation, unconstitutionally) and 17th Amendment. FED up with the FED.
The regulations are not protecting the individual. It comes from our history where "the sovereign" was the king and everyone else was his subjects.

I'm with Robert. However, there is one thing that bothers me about Bitcoin. Theoretically, it will create thousands of billionaires, and quite a few trillionaires. Is there not a danger that this will create a new Bitcoin plutocracy? I discuss this in a recent article on my Substack. I don't know the answer. I would like fellow Bitcoiners to give me their opinion on this.

I think the risk is less than with today's system with endless money printing. Main thing is to raise human consciousness. Money is purely survival.

@@btdoe3259 Thanks for the reply. I agree 100% that Bitcoin is better than the current system. Still, I am worried about a Bitcoin plutocracy. All the Bitcoiners I know are the very best of people. However, power corrupts. And even if not corrupted, lots of money thrown at problems with the best of intentions can backfire. I believe, for example, that some of our current billionaire philanthropists are doing terrible harm to the planet and society.

@@MathewAldred yes. But the thinking is (as I understand it right now) that bitcoin is open source and by keeping the blocks small the common man can run his/her own node and decide themselves what version to support 🤔

@@btdoe3259 You can make a raspberry pi node for $200. How many of these nodes could a big whale buy and control in order to swing things their way? And, what about a group of whales?
