I have to agree. I wasn't a big fan when he was on snl but after the interview I really like him. The Chevy chase podcast was garbage he's just not funny.
The flyer “no you throw it away” is a Mitch hedburg joke
Enjoying the podcasts, glad you're putting them in KZread.

That's true. I only heard about it from listening to another channel mention it. That caused me to search for it.
Fly in the wall is amazing!!!! How is this not a show on HBO?
Gotta say. Their guest list says something about Dana's and Dave's clout. How entertaining and informational regarding behind the scenes of their profession is remarkable. Just fantastic...💪💪💪
Adam did well when he selected Rob for "You can do it"

This is great!
My favorite character, Rob plays, is from 50 first dates.. every scene he's in, is astronomically helarious! An unbreakable character actor
Take a drink when they mention snl bless them
Schneider is such a great guest and so articulate. I never appreciated Schneider enough on SNL.
This is one of the funniest Fly on the Walls I've listened to... the Japanese Elvis story is great.
33:20 - Milt Abel didn’t create the joke of someone handing you a flyer implying “you throw this away”, that was *Mitch Hedberg!*
ROB is GREAT. You both could learn something from him.
Time for Rob to host the Oscars

Love the story about when Rob was in the crowd at a standup show with a mean performer on stage who usually ripped people apart-but that week had a meltdown & was asking "why God would let bad things happen to him?"...and Schneider shouted out "It's because you're fuckin' evil!"
Robs impression of Bernie Brillstein sounds a bit like Jiminy Glick
Spade’s asides are often lost on the other two guys in all these podcasts, but some of the are pure gold. “Sorry,” around 40:00 after Rob blazes back into the story at hand

Rob made “Judge Dredd” watchable.
what rob says about san francisco is correct. It used to be very bohemian, very alternative and truly welcoming/comfortable/creative. The last 15 years has gone from racially obsessed to marxist to a kind of authoritarian social climate in all aspects (work, school, community). Where if you dissent or offer anything other than the pro DNC/pro leftist viewpoint, you are outcasted/shamed/shunned.

It's a sad state. No more open mindedness or room for creativity. Only conformity and swift cancelation if you step out of line. The death of freedom and expression. imo. You know it'd bad when most mainstream comics have self censored and then go on to criticize and judge any comic that doesn't follow suit. I'm gonna call out someone like Sarah Silverman who only got her fame by being controversial and offensive, and then pulled up the ladder behind her when realizing it was better for her to fall in step. Fortunately there are young comics who don't censor themselves and do very well. (Just not in Hollywood.) They're actually willing to joke about the current climate and call out some of the insanity that everybody sees.

Fox news? Do you mean the same Fox news that more Democrats watch than CNN and MSNBC combined? The same Fox news that has higher overall ratings than the other news channels throughout the day?
