Yes, it is a good place. Summer weekends and evenings are pretty busy there. The smallest ice cream they have is two large scoops. I’m thinking they might have a hidden menu item where you can only get one… But it’s so good, you got to have two.

Well… thank you very much. A+ is something to be proud of. Yes, I thought that Restaurant Roulette introduction was the way to go. One KZreadr I watch seems to think they are the best way to trick the KZread AI. His are always very quiet, so youtube auto adjusts and causes it to blast really loud.

She started singing some song, “suck it through the straw”.. I don’t know, maybe it’s some hip EDM song that I don’t know. I’ll have to ask her about that. I have used that Roulette app a couple times on my phone. It’s kind of a fun thing to do if you’re out in the area and you just want to try to pick something at random and not have to think about it too much.

Great production and interesting local information. I like these videos because it captures the feeling of getting out somewhere, seeing a couple of things and grabbing some food. Not just a glorified excuse to shove meat down your throat. Good vibes.

I’m glad you enjoyed it! Yes, I agree, it makes life a lot more interesting to actually try to experience more than just one restaurant after another… I’ll take quality over quantity any day of the week. Often times quality costs more, but in this case it didn’t. I’m really happy Patti suggested getting out and enjoying the day.

Yeah, I don’t really like hanging out with the girls during their outings. They need their time and I am very happy to give it to them. Patti is quite a trooper when it comes to these videos. She really doesn’t like to talk on camera and tells me that she never knows what to say, but every time she’s in one of our videos, she knocks it out of the park. She’s fun to be around and we really enjoy our time together.

Great to see you more of Patti on camera. That AI voice on the recipe roulette intro, you know what you're doing, Rob! lol.

I’d like to see more Patti too. Sometimes our schedules work out. She actually suggested this one. That Recipe Roulette intro was fun to put together. I found a free text to speech website that had several voices to try.. thanks for the positive comments!

Loved this video! The streamlining of food description is a great addition to the show. Some of my favorite youtube reviewers have started to turn their food reviews into clipshows from 2008 that were made with Windows Video Maker. The nondiegetic music you use is a great example of using sounds and music that complement the video - other youtubers tend to use it obnoxiously as a way to lazily avoid post-production. Not pushing this, but have you ever thought of asking Fond-du-lac or whatever town you live in to do some promotional videos about visiting local places. You're a real shining example of Wisconsin niceness and the opposite of a blight to local establishments. Keep the vids up!

Yes, my food description wasn’t very descriptive. But man, I love those buns and that burger was so tasty. The cheese curds were not hot, but they were perfectly warm to the point of still having squeak in the cheese. They were actually quite amazing. I have also seen a food reviewer showing slideshows with very loud and confusing music playing along. My guess is his license for his video editing software has expired. He probably found an old windows computer that has not been updated for years and has decided to go old-school with windows video maker.

Thanks. I try to make it interesting, take my time and do a good job of editing. Hopefully it comes through in the final video. In this video I did something different that I never did before… I did that eating montage with some cool music in the background. I put in a bunch of jump cuts that seem to be random and had the talking barely audible in the background. I have to thank Patti for that idea. We watch another KZreadr that does that in some of her videos.. I’ll try new things.

I suppose I could’ve eaten it like a taco, but then it would’ve been gone way too quick. This burger was so good and the company so nice, I wanted to make it last. I will leave the “eating it like a taco” for those guys they need to get it down their throat quick.

Did I mention… I really like those buns. They were so fresh. The exterior was nice and dry so it had a little texture and the inside was pillowy soft. They were amazing.… i’m sure they get them from some bakery around there because I can’t imagine they do any baking back in that small little kitchen.

Hope they didn't have any credit card surcharges! Looks good for a keto leaning or carnivore diets!!! 😊 Firewud looked gud BTW.

Nope, I didn’t have to worry about any unexpected credit card charges. This place only accepted cash. And you know what, they didn’t have any tip automatically added to the bill either. But they did have a tip jar outside the window, which I was happy to contribute to. These service workers deserve so much more than they get.

No PulPork at this place. There was no smoker in sight. I believe the only cooking equipment they have is a big griddle and a deep fryer. And, I have to tell you, the smells coming out of that kitchen were amazing. Where we were sitting the exhaust was blowing right towards us and you could smell every burger. if I was a carnivore, I definitely would’ve had wud…. (Did I just write that?)

Did I mention how good the buns were?… yes, those burger patties were pretty thin and not the best I’ve had. They were tasty and the overall experience was top-notch. Thanks for the honest comment.

Yes. Their prices are great. Patti and I had a nice lunch for under $20. As far as pickles are concerned, I too like them on my burger. I forgot to order them. You can ask for whatever you want on your burger and they’ll put it on there. It’s a very cool place.
