Rob is the only celebrity I actually follow on social media. He's funny, modest, shares normal human stuff. And his interviews since forever are always so down to Earth it makes him my favorite frontman. That kind of guy you'd have a beer with, talk about stuff and realize it wasn't 20mins but rather 3 hours have gone by.

I had no idea. I'm always hesitant to look to much into my music heroes. Mostly guitarists but yeah, I didn't always like what I heard. Was a huge Ritchie Blackmore fan. His fault I play guitar. Him and Tony Iommi. And now I read something about Iommi that's making me not want to think about it. Glad to hear Rob is a good guy. My only interaction was shouting great show afterwards outside, they spent some time saying hi to fans and I got a smile :) One of my fondest memories along with talking to Michael Schenker at a signing in German in Asia. He was surprised, my friend is half Asian so when he started in a thick Bavarian accent he chuckled at that. And Yngwie Malmsteen said he'd noticed me and the same friend. Everyone was sitting down and nodding politely, we stood on our chairs somewhat inebriated and head banging. He signed sone autographs after the show and I saw he was happy to see us. I said Far Beyond the Sun was super clean and I still can't do it after six months of trying. He smiled and signed our posters. I never got his bad reputation, seemed like a real nice guy. He didn't have to talk to two drunk 16 year olds, he could have told his security guy to get rid of us but he was really nice. Seemed genuinely pleased at my comment. It's so nice when these legends turn out to be normal nice people. Sometimes you gotta wait two hours until the band leaves the building and they're usually happy to chat with fans while the bus is readied. That's how I got to talk to Ronnie James Dio. Nice guy too! And despite some stuff I read that happened in the 80s, Iommi is a nice guy too. I mentioned his tone was fantastic that day and he seemed touched by that. Also one of my fondest memories. Now leave Lita Ford alone!! Lol...

I really don't know about him that much. All I know is recently I understood how he looks like now with shaved head but whole time I was thinking Rob is still looks like how he looked like at back in 80s .. lol 😂 I listen more on his music rather than pictures or videos back then. So .... I won't say any details coz it's gonna be too long story but Rob is such a nice guy. He really is serious about his craft . I used to tried to sing along with his vocals with fake cheapo Walkman's head phone on my head blasting Judas Priests song and cold winter streets on bicycle .... One Day... I'll be a heavy metal rock musician ! That was my dream back then... Now I'm just a pot belly middle aged old man with creepy long hair .. ...time had changed ..I couldn't be anything in a end . 😭

This guy is a real metal class act.

Shedding tears indeed! I found Judas Priest in 1980 at 10 years old. I had no idea what Priest was to me in those days. Now, at 54 years of age I have listened to these three new tracks many times on the 1000w system in my living room, and I can't help but feel, that if Rob and Priest can pull this shear amount of power, punch, thump, endurance, melodic musical innovation and epic lyrical songwriting at their age, then I'm about to kill the next decades of my life. Far from getting old, we can remain young when we dare.

Still good? Saw em last 10 years ago and they were incredibly fantastic. As much as I didn't want to admit it, Faulkner really added something that was sorely needed. Felt like a new band. I definetly noticed they were having fun and I did get about 20 guys to go along in screaming "Victim of Changes" between every song and they actually played it. My favourite song at the time. Probably not because of me but they don't play it often so it was a special moment. They're coming near me in April. I'm broke AF but I think I'm gonna go and see them. I thought I'd give their new album a listen... it's been three days now on repeat at home and at work... I actually wouldn't mind hearing some of those live. I've heard Another Thing Coming and Breaking the Law...

im 63 this is the first album in over 30 years that I sat in my Recording studio and never left my seat till all songs were over definitely the total package nothing but POWERFUL ...it was Hypnotic ...and I forgot that feeling Thanks JP

To put it into perspective, imagine yourself having the same job, or career, for over 50 years, and loving every minute of it!! Growing up in the 80's as a teenager and bass player, I cannot imagine the Heavy Metal movement without JP. I had their posters all over my walls, had all their albums and and still crank them in my truck to this day. I read their books and people who didn't grow up in the 80's have no idea what they missed out on. Metal, arcades, no internet, etc... It was a wonderful time and JP was part of it.

Ah you're gonna make this 90s kid cry. Would have loved to see the bands in their prime especially as a guitar player who loves Randy Rhoads and Glenn Tipton. Always thought he was underrated. Sweep picking done well by an old dog! I still got to see all the bands, Ozzy, Sabbath, Priest etc... I am grateful for that. Priest and Sabbath, they still got it. Incredible shows. But still to see Randy or Jake live. That would have been something. At least Jake is still around and teaching us how to play Bark at the Moon properly on KZread. I still can't do it but I know why I'm doing it wrong at least. Imagine an aging Randy Rhoads giving lessons... I was born 10 years after the guy passed and yet I still feel a sense of loss as if I had known him personally. I'm going to see Priest again. Who knows how many occasions there will be and I don't have the kind of money to travel and they're coming to within 2h by train. It's been 10 years, I think I need another Priest concert to get me through the next 10 years. I had an aweful week. A super cute co-worker is quitting and I accidently said some stuff while saying goodbye. You can imagine what. Never said a word. Didn't want to bother her. Like all the other guys. I figured what does it matter, I'll never see her again. Then she started crying and staid another month. But now she's leaving for a faraway city thousands of km away and I can barely cope with it. But the new JP album got me through the last three days. Cherish what you have before it's gone!!! Because eventually it'll all be gone Rob, Glenn, Ian... Ozzy. Everyone you ever knew or cared for. Time is finite, best not forget that. I know I have in the past and regret is not my favourite emotion. But Priest, my guitars and the cheap 7€ gin will get me through anything. I hope anyway. Wish I could have been there in the 80s. My music was mainstream practically. Unthinkable to me. I'm so used to being looked at like a maniac for putting on some Sabbath or Ozzy. Priest I don't even dare. They'd hang me.

The very first album I bought was Blizzard of Oz and, of course, I have all the AC/DC albums. I dont know if there is much more to say about RR that hasnt already been said, but I will add tha the world was virtually robbed of him with such a young death. Seriously, what he could have contributed would have been right up there with Eddie Van Halen, or greater. As for Bon... The man was a lyrical genius. I used to sit with my buddy and jam all their songs while reading the lyrics. I was into all the 80's metal bands but I am still into JP and Accept. Seriously, great post man... Rock on!!!

2 generations of metal showing each other show much respect. I smiled the whole way through this. Amazing that all the young fans support these guys in their 70's and that these guys are creating such amazing music after all these years

Rob is our best ambassador. The talent is still growing. The Human Being is still growing. Sharing his presence on earth is a gift. Last but not least he's such a beautiful soul. He's just our METAL GOD. Worshiped by the entire community. See ya in Paris on April 8 with Saxon. And I can't believe this is true in 2024. I'm still a teen.

I agree with you completely my friend but I’ve been seeing them since about 76 my friend and Jill currently I’ll be leaving Los Angeles on April 30 to see the May 1 at Rosemont theater in Illinois USA. Then I’ll be heading three days later May 4 to see them in Kalamazoo Michigan. Oh yeah buddy coming all the way in from California for the shows they’re not doing any shows on the West Coast or in California we don’t miss the priest for anything my friend Long live Judas Priest forever amen

I would love to just sit and chat with Rob Halford about anything. He is a man who has always struck me as genuine and real, not full of false bravado. I am now 60 years old and swear that as long as Priest keeps putting out music and touring I will keep sucking it up. This truly a marriage. Only the death of Priest or me will this love affair end. I also soooo respect that the band did not just discard Glen. Made me so happy to see him in the videos. Shows that they are consumate professionals and loyal friends. Long live Priest!

Back in the 80s I was a huge Priest fan and owned all the albums and saw them in concert as well. They remain my favourite old-school metal band. All the head-banging teens loved their stuff back then. Maiden too. Saxon was another great old-school band. We all had the cassettes, albums, posters, t-shirts, etc. We had long hair too. Now most of my hair is gone or going grey - like Rob Halford :) He had the best vocals back then. Great music.

Had the pleasure of seeing Judas priest, Saxon and Uriah heep on the first night of the tour. It was absolutely epic. Robs vocals were amazing and Richies guitar work was the best I've seen.

Lifelong fan me!! Following JP from the very beginning has been the most rewarding experience as a dyed in the wool metalhead. Bands like Judas Priest, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Deep Purple are those on which I cut my teeth on. When I first heard songs like Victim of Changes, Whole Lotta Love, Black Sabbath/Paranoid, Highway Star, Smoke on the Water, my life changed forever. I am 62 now and I am still headbanging my way through life. I saw Priest in Melbourne a few years back and that was unforgettable. Went to Knotfest last year in Melbourne, going again next week with my 17 yr old son. He is also a metalhead and an accomplished drummer (thanks to my influence!!). My wife and his mother doesn’t thank me every day!! 😂😂 This album from Judas Priest is a cracker from start to finish. I listen to a few different genres but for me metal is where it’s at. I try to spread the ‘gospel’ every chance I get. Throw the horns, raise a glass and toast the album of the decade and PLAY IT FUCKING LOUD!!! Stay metal!!

Just gotta love this guy, he is so real and refreshingly honest no matter what the situation or context. Can't wait for the show "MGM Boston Massachusetts " 🤟

I absolutelly love the chorus from the title track. Truly inspiring and morale-inducing, especially in light of everthing that's happening in the world right now. "Invincible Our masses are united Invincible Forever and a day Invincible Can never be divided And nothing can stand in our way Invincible shield" Such a powerful song and message. Gives me hope that the people of the world, many of whom are currently divided amongst themselves, can one day overcome their differences and come together in unison once more.

Greatest voice in all of rock and metal. Priest's music has made the good days better and the worst days liveable. 55 years is outstanding and for a band to release not one, but three albums at their tenure that stand toe to toe with their classic output, is nothing short of legendary. They truly are the metal gods.
