Rob Gronkowski elects to go pro

dailywildcat.com TUCSON, Ariz. - University of Arizona tight end Rob Gronkowski announced on Jan. 15 in McKale Center that he has declared for the 2010 NFL Draft, and will forgo his two final years of NCAA eligibility. Rob's brother, senior h-back Chris Gronkowski, also has plans of going to the NFL. In just two seasons, he became the most accomplished tight end the Wildcats have seen. In 22 games, Gronkowski, a 6-foot-6, 265-pounder from Amherst, N.Y., hauled in 75 catches, 1,197 yards and 16 touchdowns - all school records for a tight end.
