Hi Kooleen. I love your channel and I have for a while. But I’ve seen some of the things you did that people are discussing now, I did always find those things you did iffy. This is not a hate comment, I genuinely believe you had no Ill intent, all I’m asking is that you at least address it and stop deleting and ignoring these claims. I’m disappointed in your actions. I still enjoy your content, but this is all I ask. It hurts your fanbase to see this, we all want the best for you and addressing it in a mature way and apologizing is the best thing to do in this situation. I hope this can be sorted out. Drawing PoC isn't as hard as one may think. I won't lie to you, I asked myself if I could draw people of color...then I decided after 1 year of digital painting, I'd draw myself. I thought it came out decent so i posted it up on YT. I unfortunately abandoned my channel and rarely digital paint now. I can go back to it but things in life get in the way. I get in my own way as well. Over the years, I've started to see beauty in everything. So, when I run into a problem, I solve it instead of trying to avoid it. Otherwise, I won't ever get to express and capture that beauty elsewhere. I am not here to judge you. When I heard about the situation thought "This person probably lives in a place that is not diversified and they are straight out of High School or something." I knew thsi because I made a crap load of mistakes in my logic. Over time, a normal human will realize they are flawed and everybody in the world is flawed. Perfection doesn't exist nor will it ever in this universe. It's the imperfections that make us all beautiful.

I can recommend sinix design, I found a lot of helpful tips from his tutorials. Sometimes watching speedpaints helps me understand the process of other artists. But if it doesn't work for your art style, hope you can find a tutorial that works for you🥰

Think about every single time youve done something wrong and apologised for it. Now think of the humiliation x10. This is what she has to put up with when she knows millions of people who dont even know her already send her threats n shit. Apologizing might to fire up the comments or get less hate. And I know that Kooleen did very wrong things, like racism, fixing artstyles, disrespectful behavior. Apologies can cause more drama. Personally I think Kooleen is trying to prevent more drama. But the longer she waits she will build up more hate. Either way hate will still come. There are many ways this drama can end or continue. (There's really no way to end the hate tbh)

It’s rare but not impossible. Idubbz made an apology video and pretty much everyone accepted it. The difference is that most apology videos are made as a PR move instead of actually being sincere, so a lot of people distrust them by default until the creator proves they can act better.

She's still liking and hearting comments, so there's no way that she hasn't read the comments asking her to apologize or at the very least address the racism allegations. Most of the comments asking her to address the situation are top comments, which you would have to scroll past in order to read and heart the comments praising her. Also, she took down the videos that she was called out about, so it's pretty obvious that she knows people are upset. The fact that she isn't coming out and addressing the issue is really problematic, because there's no way she is not aware of people's requests for her to address the situation (like I said, as evidenced by her still hearting comments), which means that she's just actively ignoring it at this point. Honestly, it's really disappointing to me because I actually was a huge fan of kooleen, and finding out about the racist comments she has made is really sad to me. And for those saying that "oh it's fine she was just ignorant at the time!", even if she was ignorant at the time she made them, that's still not an excuse to not address the situation. edit: hi update, in case people haven’t seen it, kooleen has now put an apology up on her instagram
