The whole thing gets sealed up and the patient now has a pincer that they can use to grasp objects.

@@PerspectiveEnd Not well enough to perform it, but yeah. I could tell what the purpose of the surgery was by looking at multiple diagrams. I could also tell by the age of the photos and the general obscurity of the procedure itself that this was mainly done before hand prosthetics became more sophisticated and affordable. However, I did hear that it is still being performed, but mainly in developing countries that can't afford modern prosthetics.

A weird thing I'm seeing in most Beast Wars designs is that most of them look like some 50s scifi/horror. With the proportions and the goofy sculpt and how some of them are disturbingly - looking at you, dinobot - human. He especially feels like some sort of spaceman of that era.

Barney is the old classic standbye with Megatron. What's funny is that was intentional with Blackarchnia. The guy who made her didn't want to make her look that way, but his colleagues really wanted him to, so they took him to see a stripper, and got him VERY drunk and then had him design the character.

You know when you were roasting Movie 1 Megatron for his hands? I was thinking about Dinobot's claw hands, the spider's and Scorponok's pincers and BW Megatron having a literal head as one of his, the other tucked into the tail like a jumper's sleeve. Beast Wars has the worst of this non-hands syndrome disease. No wonder all their doors are automatic or require a button because they won't be turning any doorknobs to save their lives.

No, I don't think Megatron even knew about it. Megatron needed the Golden Disk to study first before he could ever have found the Message on it. And Megatrons Ego was too big to listen to his namesake normally. Megatron only decided to kill Optimus Prime after he was out of options. Before that it wouldn't even have been a blip on his radar, and if it had been why would he try to locate and kill humans, a plan which could easily fail, and not just go for Optimus First.

Also I saw ROTB yesterday and you were right it felt like a bunch scenes were cut in the film, we don't get a scene of Prime vs Transit or Prime vs scorge in their alt mode. Rhinox and Cheetor were just background characters and when they transform we don't even get to see fully see their robot mode because how fast their fighting

Unrelated, but I picked up three Evolution releases- Animated Prowl, Twincast and Rewind, and Needlenose. Twincast is every bit as second-best-to-Cyclonus you said he was, Prowl is a nice update, and Needlenose is basic but incredibly fun.
