how tall are you?
There’s something about these Aston Martins before they switched to their new design language. I think they’re so much prettier than the new cars. Plus the sound from the naturally aspirated engines is so much better!!

The new DBS is rather fetching and the DB11 has grown on me but the Vanquish is still my favourite.
"It somehow manages to be a supercar without making you look like an arsehole" , love it and it's so true. When you drive an Aston other drivers treat you with respect, they let you out at junctions and people engage you in conversations when its parked up. The entire ownership experience is truly something special.
I love this generation of Aston Martins, they're just so pretty. Especially the Vanquish, I think it's the best car I never want to own.

@@cavansirhasanzada1755 It's an opinion, bro. It's *his* opinion. ❤️
It's refreshing to remember that there are classy sport touring cars being featured and not just ridiculously impractical spazzed out screamers doing highway pulls. Nowadays horsepower is easy, creating an iconic gentleman's conveyance that makes you want to put on a suit just to drive it is entirely another level.
Their v12, while they are not screamers, they have this typical English melody, classy, a bit posh just like it should. Nice!!

As Jeremy Clarkson once said..."This is a British brute in a suit". Given the choice between a newer AMG 4.0 V8 Aston or the last of the 5.9 V12 Vanquishes, it's the V12 every day of the week for me.
You can audibly hear him thinking about just never returning this car 😂
Definitely my favorite Aston Martin out of all their models. I love the sound of that V12 and the front end looks so sleek.

Love the sound! Vanquish is one of my favorite Aston Martins!
I've got a friend with a 2013 version of this car, had it since new in the UK, love your knowledge and especially how you knew that British B roads are why it isn't so stiff and miserable.
If I were driving up close to a Vanquish, I'm not looking to race, I just want to hear that glorious V12!
My absolute favorite Aston Martin of all time alongside the V8 Vantage ❤.

V12 vantage with a stick is my pick!
Love it. My dream car has been the DBS from around 2010/2011 for years. V12 with a manual, what more could a gentleman want? These cars are the perfect blend of beauty, sound, and more than sufficient performance.
This is very rare. But you are finally the one that knows what Aston is about and appreciating it for that. Thank u!
This is one of the best reviews I’ve seen for the Vanquish! Thank a for making this video.

I didn't quite realize until today the amazing inventory that boston motorsports has to offer. Definetly a must go place when visiting boston
The sound that car makes is amazing
My much loved Vanquish 2003 was incredible. I would drive it back and forth through the tunnel in Puerto Banus, what fun. The auto 'manual' box, much criticised was actually really fun too. Foot off gas like a manual but change gear with padle then accelerate. It meant you could get that double de clutch type popping you don't get from auto boxes.
Holy mackerel, I did not expect that awesome exhaust sound!

one of the most elegant cars!!! awesome and real-world feeling review 😂
Best looking car of the last 10 years
This thing will still look like a brand new car thirty years from now.
These depreciated nicely
I have always loved Astons. You summed it up mate - they work in the real world. Everyone falls for 0-60 times or 1/4 mile times but those are just numbers. live with, and drive a car, Aston makes a whole lot of sense when you really dig deep. long may they continue to build superb sports cars that can actually be used/driven/enjoyed on the road.
I think you've nailed the GoPro angles!
The car is just elegant. No other words for it.
10:15 whenever I see that part it makes my day hahahah beautiful collie!
My God those Astons were a work of art. Every time I see one one, I just can't stop staring. They are so gorgeous yet so sleek, they sound like a million bears trapped inside a cage. I also love how smooth the gearshifts are.
Bang for your buck this car is up there! This beauty looks like it came out a year ago ( minus the interior lol) but to the average person they will think you spent 300k plus for this bad boy. Side note keep grinding your channel is BOOMING!!
If you ever get the chance to film a Aston Martin GT8 please do it, Those things sound mental. Love your vids, Been binge watching them today

Thanks! I’ve been around a few but none that were available for video. Hopefully soon
Timeless, this car's character will never diminish with age. The sound, well if you don't appreciate it, you're probably dead.
Loving that key design.
That start up was meaty!
In my opinion, the best looking coupe, it’s just so well proportioned.
There are some really beautiful roads in the south west of England. You can enjoy them in a turbo diesel Vauxhall insignia as much as a beautiful Aston Martin V12. I live in Glendale, AZ now, but if you take the time to look at the roads there, especially in Wiltshire, you'll see people driving small Lotus cars, RR, Bentley, MGs etc. I really do have a soft spot for British cars. Oh gosh, you'd be fascinated if you ever visited.
As a Boston local, your videos are giving me good ides of where to drive haha. LMK if you need a Corolla SE to review LOLOLOL or a Tiger 1200 come summer.
From what I see here, this seems more like a sports car that does great on sustained high speeds, There's many cars that fits into a persons character and this could be fit for someone.
I love the idea of a V12 as a daily driver
Such a beautiful car

Just blasted up to Vermont in the M3 and was dreaming about the Vanquish along the way
Taking the umbrella out before trading it or selling it shows the kind of class people actually have.
I have a 2018 Vanquish S Volante. They did an amazing job on the refresh! I made a couple videos about my Aston that are on my channel. Most notably is the few issues I've had with it lol. Fantastic car though! If you're ever in Eastern PA hit me up and you can check it out.

Tedward, I recently sold my BMW M3 E90 and I’m looking to purchase the previous generation DBS. I know your review was about the vanquish which is my third pick. My second pic would be the 2019 vantage. Anyway, I wanted to get your thoughts regarding this transmission versus the DCT from the E90/E93 M3. Difference in handling? Driving experience between the two? Thanks

I love Aston cars.....that being said....for 40 less hp and 100lb more....but $30k~less....I'll keep my db9.2......they are all amazing and beautiful works of art
I think by that time the styling, especially the headlights, had become over-embellished, I prefer the purer simpler lines of their cars of the 2000s. Same goes for the dashboard, it looks like something out of a Honda & were they still using that same flip up sat nav screen that was shared with Volvos even as late as that? Prefer the earlier dashboards from the 2000s. That V12 sounds epic though. Phil from the UK.
That steering wheel looks like it has an autozone steering wheel cover on it.
I WANT ONE
There's a lot of carbon fiber on the Vanquish because every body panel is actually carbon fiber. They just paint over most of it, and you're seeing the exposed parts.

Back in 2016 an owner I never met before gave me a ride in his back then 3 month old Vanquish. This video gives me those same goosebumps again. The exhaust note is truly spectacular and for that reason alone a car like this should never be compared to any Mercedes, BMW or Audi rival. It's pure ecstacy this thing, absolutely love it.
