Roadtrip to Mount Ararat in Turkey - Iran's Border [Ep. 3] 🇹🇷

ALL TURKEY VIDEOS: bit.ly/3cdwS7c
My journey continues from the city of Kars to the Easternmost district of Turkey, lying near the border with Iran. The journey follows the line of an ancient caravan route. The main road often carries regular convoys of intercontinental vehicles heading for Iran, Afghanistan, and beyond.

ABOUT ME:
In 2013, I started my solo travel journey, leaving Indonesia in 2016 to become a full-time traveler and KZread creator. My background in International Relations has fueled a profound interest in exploring different countries. My content focuses on exploring different cultures through the lens of a solo female traveler, aiming to capture real-life interactions and experiences.
My travels kicked off with a five-month trip across Asia, after which I moved to China in January 2017 to work as an English teacher-my first time living abroad. I left China in 2018 to fully commit to creating videos on KZread, where I share my travels and the cultures I encounter.
Living nomadically since 2016, I settled in England in early 2022 after marrying my British husband, David. Now based in the UK, I continue to travel and share my adventures on KZread.

Okay, but... I was shocked by the level of respect and maturity those kids have, 1, they all gave space between one and another before speaking, they all spoke calmly and all used the word "my name is...." 😊, but what struck me the most, was when she offered them the choc bar, they were first shy, and polite, some other kids in other places will probably take it without thanking you, this literally looked at her, first .. wasn't aware they were well educated not gonna lie .. 🙏 Videos like these gives me hope to grab my camcorder bagback and head out and travel the world :D

"Travel days such this teach you to trust and surrender to whatever that may come along the way" that's well said! I could find me right in there. I really know what it is to travel alone as a woman. And where ever you go, you always fear first, but then, when you see that they just want your best, makes feel the world great again. in western turkey is where my roots lies. I've never been to the eastern side and I know that this part of turkey is not developed like western turkey. So I always wonder how it would be to travel by public transportation and how would the people react to a lonely travel girl. And I thank you so much that you just show the kidness of those people and gave me the feeling of safety to travel to eastern turkey as solo woman. this video was just heartwarming

I live there in Iğdır and I came here from western Turkey as an English teacher. It is even foreign to me. I feel like not in Turkey. People are either kurdish or azeri there and they have different cultures. The people also recognize I am not from there. When I go to a market everyone be like ohh dear teacher welcome. :D They even know I am a teacher and i dont know how they do that somehow they know you came from the west for work

@@yusufmpower Population ratio doesn't matter. The Koçgiri Kurds are the native Kurds of Sivas and they were persecuted by the Turkish state. In the last century, the demographics of the geography of Kurdistan have been systematically changed. The last example is the city of Afrin. The Turkish state killed thousands of Kurds in Afrin. The remaining Kurds left the city. Arabs and Turkmens were settled in Kurdish homes by the Turkish state.

Syifa you are the most badass traveller I ever seen mate, I love the way you interact with locals. Im in australia currently, but I'm actually turkish, born, raised, lived in istanbul for 24 years, so I can imagine what you go through as a single female traveller. I know it takes a great courage to do what you do, I think you are doing really really great, what you do is incredible. Don't take me wrong I'm not trying to compliment, I'm a realistic person, I hate complements. Anyways, genuinely great job of yours, keep it up, I only hope that maybe oneday I would come across you somewhere and shake your brave hand. Regards sait
