If you are just a bedroom DJ then there is no need for a flight case, but if you are on the road then perhaps it could look after your investment.

Road ready cases really do protect just like he said. They can get thrown around and the tonearm/platter/tt/everything is fine. Two suggestions: take off your headshell and store it in a seperate case made for them. That way if you go to a gig and they already have tts you can bring just the needles. 2nd Take a look at the balls on the corners for a second. When you stack the bottom on the top the balls should meet (turn the bottom piece over) they fit together very nicely.

nice one thing: how about protecting the tonearm from vibrations? Is it save enough in there on bumpy roads?

Road Ready Cases are good but in my opinion Calzone made the best tt cases ever.
