My first thought exactly :D

Outsider from last year is probably still my favorite song of theirs from this era of the band but this song is definitely a lot of fun and I’m glad they are willing to expand their sound a bit.

That solo brought me back to the awesome 80’s hard rock songs I still listen to and love. Great stuff!

haha, I was thinking the same thing "that sounds like a lighthearted version of Sleepwalker", which I love. Got to see part of the Sleepwalker video getting filmed in Brisbane.

Intro riff screams parkway drive sleepwalker,love how noticeable it is though. It’s like a kudos riff or something. Like the trooper one. Still a great song though! Nice reaction. Cheers.

My favorite thing about them, in which why they never have gotten old for me, each album seems to bring huge influence from the album before it. And then its also heavily mixed with something completely new. This one has huge False Idol sounds with the synth-wave type stuff. Even Matriarch, bringing in the cleans and then some new instrumental, I also heard a lot from Eclipse/ID. I hear so much similarities from a the previous album mixed with the new album coming out and then throwing in really new stuff. I can never get over this band.

Song of the year for me. Everything about this is so fuckin perfect. Love these guys.

Big fan of these guys. Got into them with ID but I think Matriarch is my favorite album. Saw them with Chelsea Grin, The Acacia Strain, and Whitechapel in Knoxville TN after ID came out and then saw them again in Knoxville on the Summer Slaughter tour after Eclipse came out. They put on an awesome live show and I hope to finally get to see them with Lucas.

"In some shots those cabinets were covered" Yes, I went to see Whitechapel when they recorded the video for "Breeding Violence" in Nashville and through the window before the concert you could see them doing beauty shots of them headbanging and shit with covered cabinets lol.

This is one of my favorite songs of the year. I listen to a lot of pop and RnB and this chorus is very influenced by those genres. Can't wait for the album. If you liked the vibe of this I highly recommend bend by volumes. Very RnB influence.

Thank you for pointing out that the wall of cabinets is probably being used as a visual effect and that not everyone is being used. I saw Weezer on the Hella Mega Tour and they had a wall of cabinets as one of their onstage set pieces and the whole time I was thinking they can't be using all those cabinets. Makes sense now that they were for decoration, especially since they were mixed of different colors.

I saw this tour live last month, those cabs are for the Polyphia set that followed Veil (as the designs on them are flowery to match Tim Henson's and the rest of the Polyphia aesthetic. I still think they are dummy cabs, but they're at least not for the veil set. I think veil does run kempers, so you're right about being digital. I saw them live about two years ago and they were running back walls of cabs, but they have since changed that the last two tours I have seen them on.

love VoM! Eclipse is still my favorite album of theirs, The Glass Slide and Vicious Circles are perfection, but all the tracks are technical, heavy, and beautiful music

I would love you to check out the band called "Pentakill"and their song "Lost Chapter". Its a fictional music group from the game Leauge of Legends wich realeased their third album 2 months ago. The lead singer is Jorn Lande, and the female vocals are from Noora Louhimo. I think that the production quality of these is amazing, and i would if youd check them out !

Even their prior albums with Brandon Butler are solid pieces of art. Jump back in time and rock your ass off. Also, I’m not sure if you’ve had a chance to listen to Whitechapel’s “Kin,” but if you haven’t checked it out, consider doing an album review. It’s my album of the year, and from the wise words of the man himself, I’ll fight anyone who disagrees.

Im not sure if you have listened to this band b4 in ur free time but if not; I recommend giving Malevolence a try! Maybe "The Other Side" or "Keep Your Distance"?

I got curious about the cabinets. It seems like the top ones are empty and they put their digital amps in there, this can be seen just when the video starts. There is a hot from behind them. The bottom one ;stage left at least, has one with a closed back that is mic'd up. So it's for show and function :)
