I have a road warrior in Canada and it is just as fast as the U.S. version. There is options to reduce to 500w but they are 750w motors in Canada. I go over 60kmh. Approx 40mph. Very powerful. Fabulous rocks. 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

No comparison for me, Wired all day long! 1) The Reention battery packs are easy to source after market should Wired go belly up 2) The Reention pack makes for a cleaner looking design. 3) The wired is full suspension 4) No bulky heavy hub motor in your front wheel with the Wired. 5) The wired is much lighter. 6) The wired has higher top speed. 7) The Wired is $800 cheaper. For me The Wired wins easily.

All wired needs is to do is add a torque sensor and maybe a pre 2nd battery hookup to be the perfect ebike. Torque sensor feels so much better to ride.

I got in on the pre-order this month for the Wired Freedom (they had a delay at the Canadian border, but are finally shipping out this week) based in part on your reviews. Thanks for the great content!

As always excellent explanations. Devils in the details and you give us a heads up on them. Such informative comparisons intelligently presented are hard to find. Wonderful channel!

One note about the Wired Freedom. I wouldn't get one if you want a bike delivered right away. You have to preorder the Wired bike (next shipment in August!) and mine hasn't even shipped yet with the expected ship date of May 15h. Wired has responded to messages and the bikes should be shipped in the next week or two. Excited to get the bike and lucky I can wait a few more weeks to get it. Just keep it in mind if you want to start riding right away.

Did you get an update on your bike? I got a label created/shipped on 5/22, but still never scanned into at UPS. Reaching out to Wired led nowhere, as they said the bikes are already shipped and no longer in their possession since 5/22, but I called UPS and was told they never received the package.

I am just about to go out on my Road Warrior AWD in a few minutes. Watching this first and topping up the charge to it . I have it set at 33 mph/55 kph .Thinkin of turnin it FULL up !! The colour of mine is called Silver bullet!!

The Wired Freedom's motors have been made with metal gears instead of plastic...I think that's important to point out

I was going to get the Bee Cool Explorer until I saw the uphill bike review. That disappointed me on the Explorer. Then I considered the Magic cycle but was looking for full suspension too, so I kept looking.? I was looking hard at the Kepler but then heard of the Wicked freedom from Citizen Cycle and quickly decided on that one. I missed the May order date so I had to wait till August. I just received mine yesterday and plan to ride it today although my brother rode it yesterday after we assembled it. I'm not very used to Ebikes like he is, so we are going out to the local elementary school parking lot so I have space to get used to its throttle power.

I just got a Wired Freedom, and was wondering if I should have saved some money and gotten the Beecool Explorer. Maybe I made a good choice on the Wired Freedom.

Nice write up too👌🏻 Like nice job comparing the 2 in real world scenarios.

I just received my Wired freedom in titian (metallic orange) yesterday. I noticed they have made a pleasant change to the rear rack. They used to have thin metal braces going from the front of the rack down to the bike frame. They now have the front brace the same thickness as the rest of the rack and the brace runs almost the same length as the back frame as is attached in four spots along the rear frame. I was hoping they would make a change like that in this batch.

You also now have an 11 cog in back for higher speed pedaling, an Acera derailleur, and a new frame design that is slightly longer creating plenty of clearance for the rear suspension.

I just rode mynew W.F. today for the first time. I went about 6 miles and went up some good uphills with it. I did pedal some but one hill you couldn't see the top because it was tgat steep. Slowest I went was 15 mph up that one. Another was steep for five blocks and a turn before the last two that I slowed down for. Near the very top, I was down to 12 mph. I didn't get a start for either hill. I was breathing heavy after that one. I should note that I weigh 250 lbs.

How is the magicycle? Which one did you get? I’ve been looking into the cruiser pro but haven’t taken the plunge yet. I really wanted wired freedom but I want something I can also ride with my kid on a trailer or seat on the bike and afraid I wouldn’t be able to keep the speed on a low end for him. From the videos I’ve watched it looks like it just books it all day. When I’m alone I’d definitely hit top speed but not with him on .

Bought the Freedom, amazing, now I know why Citizen Cycle raves about this Bike. Bought my Wife a nice 750 w foldable for about the difference in price between these two bikes. The full suspension is quite noticeable and makes road bumps and sidewalks and curbs a non issue. I’d also like to see a climbing test, not sure which bike would win.

Very interesting, for my money I'd go with the Wired bike because it is much simpler, with far less to go wrong.

Your drag racing couldn’t have made the decision more difficult. But that’s a good thing imo. Having competition is always good for business. Pushes products to new levels. Why would I want AWD? 🤔Seems like a great idea, riding in the winter probably or in sand I bet it’s a beast

Fun video! Out of these 2 bikes i think I’d go with the Wired , less weight and full suspension. They don’t ship until august though, that’s rough.

I have two Ride1Up bikes and the Wired Cruiser (the step-through version). On my 13 degree grade street, the Ride1Ups won't think about going up them on just throttle, despite them both supposedly having 95nm torque. The Wired does not just climb the hill, but will accelerate to 17mph, then blow up my 18 degree incline driveway. This is with all the performance parameters set to max. However the problem with the Wired cruiser is it feels flimsy since the back end flexes, a problem the Freedom should not have due to the crossbar. But it does go fast, and far.

Guess I would look at the customer service aspect too. I can say that Fabulous is really hands on and responsive. I also wonder a bit, if Wired can sell that model for so little, will they still be in business when you need to reach out for assistance?

Speed is always good. I want torque, hillclimb and throttle only control. I'm interested in both bikes. Just can't get a Freedom until August (maybe). Appears that Fabulous' motors are shipping their design. Thinking the Road Warrior will provide more torque for my hilly ride home. I've seen a hill climb test with Freedom v. Kepler. Freedom waxed Kepler and flew up a 20% grade. Kepler balked. Would like to see a serious hillclimb comparison.

Glad I found the channel. I'm looking at the Enguie X26, it seems ta have the power, batt. life, size(I'm 6'7)ect. And I want to put a box(for the dog)and saddle bags on the back. It also folds, and has mag wheels which I like. Any info on the X26 would be appreciated.

What kind of wattage are you getting out of the Road Warrior. On mine, without any adjustment, I’m hitting almost 1800 watts. Love the bike.

You should wear a weight vest or weights in the rack to get the rider weight the same for a truer comparison, 17 pounds on 180 is certainly significant.

What puzzles me is the controller on the Fabulous. 17 amp?

I think body weight, wind conditions plays a factor on which bike comes on top.

Not much of a contest given the price difference and full suspension. Wired seems to really have a great offering at an affordable price. I don’t think they are going to be able to meet demand over the next year and would pre order for August sooner rather than later. I’d like to see a hill climb test of your fleet. Really separates the boys from the men.

@@rickross6390 Kepler is #2 for sure, but the Wired is significantly better imo. The Wired destroys the Kepler on hills which is crucial for me and the rear suspension, while poor from a MTB perspective, works well on pavement and light off road. I find the ride much more comfortable than the Kepler and the Aventure, which are both great bikes.

When riding with other bikes, how easy is it to keep the same speed as other bikes? Especially in PAS 2. I ride with many bikes and some of them have to peddle sporadically to keep the same speed.

I like the Wired, but wonder about the rear tire hitting the controller during full compression. Looks very close in the video.

I have the Freedom and the rear suspension does have limited travel requiring a stiff shock. It is still noticeable and perfectly suited for high speed over pavement and light off road. You would never take a 78lbs 4” Fat tire on any technical MTB trail which is where you would need a squishy soft large travel suspension. The bike is almost perfect, incredible acceleration and speed. I was pulling almost 2500 watts flying up the steepest hill I could find. At speed, the bike is super stable, I can ride it with no hands. So much better than any 750w 48v bike that you really have to try one to understand the enormous difference the high voltage makes.

The way you speak of the Fabulous torque sensor makes it seem like it doesn't actually have a torque sensor. As I'm sure you know, a good torque sensor has a very natural feeling to it's engagement and use.

Quite the opposite, they are true torque sensors, they give power according to the pressure you apply. They are identical and if not better then the torque sensors in high end mid drive motors

Still up in the air as to my decision. I love dual motor climbing..But I would have thought that would also enable take off speed to be there. I'm not a fan of the Wired rear shock.. I think the utility of the dual motors would get my vote. Even though we don't have hills to climb😁

One thing people fail to say is which is more fun to ride. Dual motors can climb anything and the true torque sensors bring the road warrior to a new level. Fully adjustable front suspension from RST way better than Mozo, trigger shifters better, bigger 24ah battery, rust proof chain, and Kenda Krusade tires with puncture resist and most important the true torque sensor that will complete change the way you ride your bike! You guessed it i got mine last week and do easily over 50miles per charge. Might i mention the quietest motors i have ever heard while the wired is noisy.

I know it’s a personal view, but aesthetically, the Road warrior and its Frankenstein (home made?) battery is just plain ugly. AWD bikes are getting into the e unicycle zone for me, I’d likely hurt myself on one.

I just looked it up even waiting till it's available and paying full price and paying for next Day Air shipping it will still be about $400 cheaper for me to get the freedom

Does anyone have the Fabulous Road Warrior XT with the single 60v 1000 watt motor and 25 amp controller? Just wondered what your thoughts are about this $2499 bike. It also looks real nice (on paper).

What is your favorite E-bike ?

Torque is not like a mid drive. I need torque to pull a trailer with gear (150 lb) and I'm 240 lb.

Why add the risk of AWD for almost identical performance? Another motor to break or service and a higher risk of injury inherent in an AWD bike. I could see the trade off if the performance increase warranted. Check the gps speed of the Road Warrior, like Mel Gibson, it’s likely inflated. Road warrior looks to have a 1mph difference in top speed, not 10% as said in the Video.

I would be curious what each bike has in terms of total range riding both pretty hard?

dual 17amp controllers and still getting 40mph, clearly advanced motors. Putting 40amp controllers on any motors will eventually blow the gears.

I want a freedom. I may have to preorder for the august batch. 🤔 I already have a vado 5 and a surly skid loader. But now i want a twist throttle. Bottom line.

does biker weight make much difference? im guessing it would for bikes

I would love to know what kind of range the road warrior gets. I was told by the company that the controller is a “Dual” 17 amp and not a single. So the controller sends 17amps per motor. It’s hard to believe that bike can run in dual mode and get more than 30 miles before the battery is drained.

Can easily get over 50 miles per charge on dual motors unless you run at full speed. 2 motors are more efficient.

Road warrior look’s ergonomically better, and more comfortable for the rider. I’m assuming it’s with the extra money for the Road Warrior?

Freedom is full suspension and is a much better ride and more comfortable. Same performance lower weight, better ride, lower price.

Its gonna be a problem with any ebike when you get going a faster speed. Can get a larger chain ring and add a few mph of pedaling. But in general you may as well stop pedaling when it gets going 30+

2x 40a is a range widow maker. I think you have to be a populist in order to keep your doors open. I expect wired has hit the mark. Just resolve the rear suspension so it does not trash the controller

@@bobb9392 WRONG, AR grizzly 52v 2 -2000w peak 35ah batteries 2, 2-35amp controller's, but small person bike. 32-35mpph but takeoff is good. Company sucks.

Nobody mentions that with 2 motors if one dies you are still mobile.

Looking for an ebike without the fat tires...something around a 2.5 inch tire...have you done a video on any bikes like that...thanks.

Citizen you GOTTA REVIEW THE ANIIOKI A8 PROMAX 52VOLT. Please. Doesn't have top speed but FINALLY A COMPANY GIVES YOU A REAL SIZE BATTERRY. I need range test. But I don't think I'd get more than 60 miles per charge. If I can get 100miles, I'll buy right now. On my bomber 72v40ah 28miles max so far, 52v40ah kepler avg 28-45 miles per charge. But I'm 6 2 250. They don't make these things for bigger guys.

Very good point. If Wired is saying August delivery then it is highly likely that it would actually be September. Not the bike to buy if you want a bike for this summer.

You guys look at summers end as Labor Day? I live in New England and it stays plenty warm into October, sometimes longer.Not trying to pick a fight, but please don’t give up on having fun! I am going with the Wired bike do to the relative simplicity,price and availability of parts. Also I would like to talk with the people who have had heat and magnet issues. Whenever I have tried to contact companies who deal with import items such as these it’s almost impossible.Today I called Wired and one of the owners picked up the phone and took valuable time from his day to discuss his product,that in itself has sold me and steel reinforced gears, like to hear how you guys make out with whatever choice you make 👍⚡️

At the end you had the bike reversed.

No brainer for the average person 😊 I like to save money lol.

That wired gives you a lot for your money.

😆 First two things to do with my next pension check: 1. Buy Wired Freedom, and; 2. Make a betting Ebike race against a 50lb heavier dude who still drinks Bud! (The "wager"?
