Very nice! It's interesting to see how far Hatch green chile goes. Hatch is so small yet it supplies a good portion of the U.S.🇺🇸👍🏼

Don't forget to eat lunch at 'Sparky's' Best green chile sandwich ever! I grew up in Lordsburg, NM...went to Hatch many times for dairy calves and green chile. Enjoyed the video! Makes me 'homesick'...

@@SmokinJoesPitBBQ We live in Grandview, Mo...moved here over 30 years ago...but, if we are in the Southwest, we always stop by Sparky's. Recently, I tried to visit and called first, the owner answered and we talked for a while. He is fixing up the old Dairy Queen so they can keep Sparky's open. They will have drive thru at the new location. China virus and the NM Governor has shut down inside eating...Very sad! Sure hope they can survive...

I love me some Hatch Chiles thanks for bringing us along!

When we were in El Paso, we took my wife’s family to desert oak. The owner said the diners drive in guy had been there. My wife’s family said the episode aired a couple of days ago. Was cool. Hope you saw it and glad I saw your video on it. Never would have known about it without your video. But if you remember, we went and It was really good. So keep it up!

@@SmokinJoesPitBBQ am sure it will be, but, after past 18 months-am happy be outside of my house! And, got my shots, will mask as directed by local signage of course. I recently live in Phoenix which is moderately close, however, here I ask restaurant people if they have Green Chili-most 99% look at me like I am an alien. Only a light handful restaurants here carry roasted chopped green Chile.

Cool video Joe! One of my favorites, they roast them all over here too, just picked a bunch up.

Good stuff Joe, I am actually in Las Cruces today(Sunday). I am lucky enough to be on Federal Jury Duty here starting tomorrow. Was in Lubbock yesterday judging the Texas Tech Raider Red BBQ comp. Boomarang BBQ from Wolforth won it. They are tearing it up and Number 1 in the nation right now

Hey Louis! He seperate them into quart size ziploc bags, label them and put then in my deep freezer. The really nice big ones we seperate for chile rellenos. 👍🏼

Very nice! At one point markets were saying their Chile was from Hatch and now they have to be certified to label their Chile as being from Hatch. Crazy stuff right. Thanks for watching. What part of AZ do you live in? We lived in Surprise for 4 years but I travel throughout AZ. 👍🏼

Diez pesos wtf

Pueblo Colorado, as you know, is a few hours north and has even better green chili. Don’t take my word for it, but you won’t be disappointed. There is a huge green chili festival each fall.
