I was laid up for a month and had a sprinkler connection break. Called a landscaper I knew here in AZ who came over and wanted $200 to repair the pvc connection. $5 part and about 30 minutes of work.......he wouldn't back down from the $200 charge.....no way I'm paying that but many people think these people work for cheap....not so.

Man this is sad. I’m from Magdalena. My grandpa ray is the county commissioner for Socorro county. Kids adults just don’t wanna work nowadays. It’s sad. This new generation is beyond lazy. My 4 little ones are always with me outside getting dirty workin. Kids nowadays just stay inside on their phones or games. It all starts at home. So much bad parenting in this world nowadays. We farmed corn, soybeans, etc. in late 70’s through 90’s. We’d plant a few acres of sweet corn & let anyone who wanted fresh corn pick it on halves. When food stamps came into play people stopped asking to pick free corn. The value of hard work started eroding away at that point, and now people depend on the govt because govt gave out what’s not earned & has no value.
