my nephew has two different speaking language parents also, but he seems to only speak in english but he understand his mom in her native tongue still, it's so cool how kids are able to pick up languages so easy but as an adult i find it near impossible... Chinese, French-Canadian I can't remember anything i learnt... just english :(

I was one of 6 slightly neglected suburban kids in NJ and my aunt took me to NYC when I was maybe 10. She treated me to a meal at a genuine Japanese hole in the wall restaurant in Manhattan. I tasted Shrimp tempura for the first (and very unexpected) time. It was literally the best thing I have ever tasted and I'm 62 now. The flavor was from Heaven. It elevated my life.

My granddaughter is only about 3 months younger than Wolfy. She joins the infant care since 3 months. Recently she too like to help throw things into the bin. Not throwing things around but to pick things up from the floor to deposit them into the bin. I guess it’s because she is helping to clean up after play. As a preschool educator, myself, we encourage clean up time and the kids are always glad to help.

Japanese express highway is not free and if you exit for lunch and come back, you have to pay again, so normally people don’t exit highway until getting to the destination. For this reason, there are many restaurants, gas stations etc along the way. In the US, you can exit for lunch or gas and come back for free, so there’s no reason to build such facilities. Some rest areas in Japan have more than just shops & restaurants, there are even hot springs or amusement parks. It’s a good idea to make money from tourists who would have been just passing by without such facilities.

Thank you Paolo for sharing this memorable moment with your family on this awesome getaway. I can’t wait to see more videos with you and your family in Tokyo Zebra. I know what you mean on scheduled time. Gotta remember, with a family especially with a child, your schedule will never be the same and on time as expected. You have to go on the flow with the family as the memorable part of a voyage, vacation, drive or a get away is not time schedule you try to follow, but the memories you are creating with your wonderful wife and child. With me having 3 kids with my oldest being a senior this year I do miss those days of my kids being the age of your son. Cherish those moment every second of it and don’t let the timed schedule get to you. Let the journey with your wonderful family be filled with wonderful memories. Please keep up the wonderful work you and your wife is doing! God bless to you and your family!☺️

Wolfy is just so adorable! Awe. He's such a cutie-pie, quite verbal and expressive. He was just a little guy not too long ago; now a full toddler! Where does the time go?

This is just a little side note observation, Paolo and Miako, you guys are looking well-happy and healthy. Youthful and fit! Parenting seems to bring out a nice joyful zeal to you both. I enjoy watching these adventurous vlogs and seeing little Wolfy enjoy his wonderful parents and all of his experiences. Keep up the great work guys!
