My 88 S10 Blazer had, and still has, a horrendous belt squeak. I kept a bar of soap in the glove box to apply as needed. 😂

Great trick for those who missed it; When Dave stopped on the Highway, he backed up to/ behind the guardrail... this makes for a much safer place to stop/ check vehicle, although getting off (ie exit) is always the best bet, if possible ;)

I hate that DED ended, it was the 1st of many shows I started watching when they were on KZread & then moved to MTOD. ROADKILL, ROADKILL GARAGE, HOTROD GARAGE, ENGINE MASTERS & several others I enjoy but DIRT EVERY DAY is where it all started for me.

Literally the perfect Ford, especially since it has the 300ci I6 and a manual, great combination and indestructible. I'd make a mold of those fenders though, seen in one of your earlier or later videos of you busting them up and trying to source spares... just make molds and you'll always be able to quickly make a set. I'd personally make a set in carbon/Kevlar composite instead of just fiberglass, that way they're still light, but they won't be cracking and getting rubbed through or breaking, much better than fiberglass or straight carbon, plus it looks awesome, and would definitely match the truck as it sits with the wheels, steering wheel, seats ECT 👌 (definitely get dog bone weave too, classic)

On all those older EFI Fords I move the air charge temp sensor to the air box. Seems to help cold starts.

i got a tom woods drive shaft after i crinkled the stock one on...driveline hill at fordyce. hahaha. they were supe helpful and shipped in 1 day after we had a phone call. i like my at3w. i have 43k on them and they look really good. they are great off road too.

I think that one reason stockers do better today is the average tire size is just larger most stock wranglers come with approximately 32s with 37 being normal There was a time when 35 on a jeep were big And 40s were only for the most serious offroaders

It is a great-looking truck, a cool crossover between a desert look and a monster off-roader. The tires look great on it; Falken has been killing it lately. As a side note, that rollbar also looks super clean.

Ha ha! I was wrong again Dave. I had never heard the explanation of why she's called Mom's Spaghetti. My interpretation was just start with what works ie noodles and sauce, the basics then throw everything you know to make it good. All the right parts and it always turns out better than expected! Then your friends try it and it turns out its even better than you thought. Just like Mom's Spaghetti. Keep Rocking Dave.

It makes sense that the newer Jeeps are doing well. The Jeep R&D budget dwarfs most other manufacturers budget. My JL is Mojito Green, and I like the color. Not hard to spot on trail.

First off Steering wheel and seats look great. Now you need a rad shifter ball. Maybe I missed it but was the drive shaft way out of Balance.

Definitely getting a set of those AT4’s!!!!

I run the off brand ohtsu for a street tire on my hot rod and its a good tire!

Eminem song I knew it. And a perfect reference for the truck. 8 mile is a good movie (my opinion) and they got it right. I lived just outside of Detroit in the 90's/early 2000's and the movie shows the area accurately. As always good stuff Dave. Like button energized. Have a good week.
