In Part 2 of the LA-39 serries, we travel along Judge Perez Drive in St. Bernard Parish, through the communities of Chalmette and Meraux.
Louisiana Highway 39 (LA 39) is a state highway in Louisiana that serves Orleans, St. Bernard, and Plaquemines Parishes. In New Orleans, LA 39 is referred to as North Claiborne Avenue, while in St. Bernard Parish, it is known as Judge Perez Drive. It spans 54.08 miles (87.03 km) and is bannered north/south.

The skyway is cool. I'm hoping that movie theaters don't become a thing in the past along with shopping because people enjoy these things.
I wonder if that road will become a main corridor for office development

I think once you get to a point past Chalmette, that the population density doesn't support a lot of commercial development.
Is Chalmette Safe ?

@@terrellmackvideos there’s been an uptick in crime recently, really bad opiate problem, some violence, still a lot safer than most of the surrounding areas
