I think it was on Talk is Jericho I heard Moxley say they've planted some seeds for long term story telling. As soon as I hit play I remembered that. I'm pretty sure he was talking about this. It is such good shit.

And who has he gotten over? Is he even over beyond the AEW fans? Aew is a vanity project by the bucks and omega, where they basically set out to create a company that treats them like the goats because everyone else rejected them and they have tricked people like you into believing they are. The bucks took the champion ship after FTR only had it for weeks and now Omega is going to take the one champion ship that used to mean something. Omega fans think "holy shit omega has gotten so many people over with his popularity and charisma and star Power" but then Cody Rhoades gets more people over than the bucks and omega combined.

What people haven't realized yet, is that this long term storytelling will just keep getting better and better. I can't wait for what the next decade brings and seeing these characters presented in the best way wrestling can be.

Skeptical about the title change. I don't remember where I read this, but I recall reading a rule in AEW that the group of EVPs can't hold more than one title at a time. And since Young Bucks are the tag champs, Kenny probably won't win this. I hope I'm wrong, but I'm predicting a W for Moxley.

@@TT-lu5gt If they have to have commercials for reasons out of their control, I understand, but this match is the most important match in AEW's short history. If they have to pay out of pocket to get this match where there are no interruptions, then I feel for the importance of this match they should do so. This is not the type of match you want to stain in any way. You want fan's experience of this match to be memorable. You don't won't fan complaints about commercials during the match to overshadow, in the slightest, the moment these two men will create. If I'm Tony Khan, I want this moment to be perfect. I don't want fans remembering when the match went into picture in picture commercial breaks. I want this match to go down in history as one of the greatest matches ever. Going to commercial breaks will taint the moment. If I was Tony Khan, I'm doing everything I possibly can to work with TNT to get this done, even if it means that I take a financial hit, because I would know and understand the importance of this match and what it means for the brand going forward.

I LOVE the current Road To.. Series, but we NEED some story recaps like this for some of the longer term stories. It's a nice refresher and brings everyone back up to speed on what's going on.

The Road to Winter...is paved with only the best of intentions....but sometimes the road becomes wet, as well as cold.....and it becomes so slick that not even the best in the world can claim but to tread so cavalierly into the Realm of the Unknown.

I was in Baltimore for full gear last year. When omega jumped off the rail in the crowd i was right behind em. The silence that fell over that place towards the end of the match still gives me chills. I hope tomorrow lives up to that first one.

I’m beyond pumped for this match!!!

The pop of the crowd when Moxley came out gave me chills. I miss AEW crowds

Now that's a build. It's been actually over an year. Two of the best crossing paths in their separate journeys climbing to the top, exploring new territories and finally leading up to this. Mox had a great run, beat the top guys and defended the title like a fighting champ, carried the title for AEW's first era following Jericho. Now it's Omega's time. And after this, it'll br Hangman's era. Awesome stuff
