As he stated the pull back plate would have given both the gauges and screen complete visibility. I sat in the exact same set up and it definitely changes things.

Good install I’m doing mine as well this week for my build question on the wires are there different plugs so you can’t confuse them the smaller plugs ..

so it appears the ignition mechanism is gone now and you just use your fob. also where did the buttons go for the things you had on auxillary like garage door opener etc. thanks. i just ordered this but i am putting my gauges in front.

I think steel triple tree is stronger than billet aluminium.

Excellent video. I just did this on my RG and I love it. I didn't do the Raptor pull back plate but I think I am going to. That raises the height of the bars an inch doesn't it? That'd be my only concern.

According to Kraus, adding the pullback plate would add 2". So, with a 10" riser and the Fly Moto bars, it would be 14.5" total height.

Did you use an extension harness for your gages or did the stock reach .

You make it look so smart. Have you done a Road King Special? I am thinking seriously doing this setup with the two inch pull back plate to move the bars closer to me. I’m 6 foot even with average reach. You any where near Colorado Springs? Stay safe brother.

Question, if I’m doing the work myself, is it required or easier to have the bike programmed before I delete the ignition switch or can I delete everything and do the work and then say trailer the bike over to Harley and have them program it after?

You can. The pull back plate is cut out in the middle so you can still access the lock.

Dam this guy is good....

I love the look of the kraus but looking at 800-950 for all parts for my street glide

The real question is, why is Harley still putting absolute dog shit suspension on a bike they are touting as a “sport touring” aka performance bagger, and charging MORE than a standard touring model!? It’s shameful…..get less, pay more. merely lipstick on a pig!

Digital speedo and tachs are cheap new school hipster technology. I think you can pull em up on the infotainment but fk that. U can barely see ur infotainment with this setup. Analog gauges all day
