Road Dogg Gets VERY Honest About Mistakes He Made In WWE

Ойын-сауық

Road Dogg (@BGJames) is a WWE Hall of Famer known for his time as part of the tag team "The New Age Outlaws" and as a member of D-Generation X. He joins Chris Van Vliet to talk about his new podcast called "Oh... You Didn't Know", how he first teamed up with his tag team partner Billy Gunn, his thoughts on Gunn Club in AEW being compared to the New Age Outlaws, his struggles with addiction, how he was able to get clean, what he learned working under Vince McMahon as the head writer on Smackdown, his relationship with Triple H, why he was jealous of The Rock and much more!

Seeing Billy's personality and then seeing Road Dogg's personality... you can see why these two made magic in the ring. They're genuinely 2 really nice people.

Are they two genuinely nice people? Cuz there were a lot of WWE talents that were talking about how much of a douchebag road dog was when he was working in management doesn't sound like a nice person to me

@@robertrodriguez-ub5cf I think he's found peace in himself and he's been rectifying his wrongs, so in my opinion, that comes across as he's a nice guy. Road Dogg also has also had WWE talents compliment him also... people say nice and bad things when they're under someone... that's business. A lot of wrestlers didn't/still don't like Triple H, Vince, Shane, Pritchard etc. Opinion is opinion

He's doing commentary on one of the small shows.. Superstars or Saturday Night or something like that. I tuned in and got REALLY excited when I saw him, but it's just.... bad. Makes me sad. He was legit my favorite for most of my teenage years. My IRC handle was Road Doggy Dogg for longer than he used that gimmick.

This video put a smile on my face, but also made me feel very old. I used to watch Brian's dad, Bob Armstrong, wrestle back in the mid-70's. While Dusty Rhodes was the biggest name in Florida at the time, the guy who got the second biggest pop at the Orlando Sports Stadium was Bob Armstrong. If you interview Brian again, I'd be interested in hearing him share some stories about his dad.

This just continues to prove my point on whats wrong or needs to be changed, if WWE and aew done away with guaranteed contracts it would force these current talent to get themselves over, and if not you don't make money! This change would weed out the talent who can't, and propel the talent that can. If this happens, change happens for the better, this is the answer. I'll take the acknowledgements now! One common line I hear from the attitude era and those 83 weeks WCW was big, they all cared more cause if they didn't, they didn't get paid. I'd challenge vinnymac and tony Khan to do this, it's really the only way you can guarantee talent won't get complacent and put out crappy shit, cause if they do, you won't be around long enough. Think about it, it's the only change that will help.

@Chris Van Vliet thanks more than you will ever know for having BG on your show. The “Armstrong” family have been a great family and deserve all the blessings life brings them. From the Bullet, Brad, Steve, Scott and Brian they were/are all stand up gentlemen. We have all faced storms in life but it how you rebuild after the storm that makes you a man or a wuss. Thanks BG much respect from one Gucci Zaddy to the next much love bro.
