I'm fixing to start this project again using Lion brands Heartland yarn. I figured out the gauge swatch to be using a 6.0 hook. I just finished another one ( the same Journey afghan using a 5.0 hook and the center is like a bowl. It doesn't lay flat. I never realized how important the " Guage swatch" is.😮 Thank you for your tutorials. Your designs are wonderful. ❤❤

I am soooo excited to do this with you!! I’ve never done a stitch-a-long before so I’m hoping I can keep up!! I received your book yesterday in the mail and today I’m taking it with me to my local fiber shop to get my yarn!!!! Yay 😁

I just started the blanket today. I just finished the Into The Light Afgan from the book. Once I find the gender of baby on the way I plan on doing one of the baby blankets. This book is filled with so many beautiful patterns. You and your team did a wonderful job. ❤

I purchased the book and I love reading about the history behind the Crochet Crowd. I think I joined soon after you were sponsored by Red Heart ( when they were owned Coats & Clark before Yarnspirations bought them) and have stayed since then. I’ll save these videos to a playlist so I can follow along after the holidays. I’m trying to learn to pace myself with crochet as I have moderate carpal tunnel syndrome and can’t crochet for hours like I used to do. But I can’t wait to start this sometime next year. ☺️

This was so Beautiful. Thank you for sharing this. I have never learned how to read a pattern and appreciate your tutorial. I love the name of the pattern. And cant wait to try it. I just have to finish the 2 I'm working on now. This year we are giving home made gifts for our Christmas exchang and I want make this for my 1st born who has had a very hard life journey raising 3 children all with health issues. People won’t pay for a paid pattern. We tried many years ago and people want patterns for free and email me horrendous messages fir asking fir payment. So I don’t bother.

Hey. I sub. on the second tutorial.

Tried this 4x cannot keep the appropriate count only got 15 v stitches. Another Got to row 22 had to many flag looking stitches 5 extra. Like how! The other one was so easy

Hi Mikey, I am starting this with 3 colors of Paintbox chunky but, I love the colors you chose at random in the video. Just looking at the thumbnails makes my heart sing. So I plan to make a second one. Is it possible to tell me what all the colors are? I may not be able to get all the colors but I will try to get most. :) Thank you. Oh! I cannot remember but the link in the video takes you to the landing page. I recorded all of that there. I think the video description may have hook and brand too.

I did not want to buy MORE yarn, but this design looks so very cool in the bulkier weight. Well....to the internet! Thanks for the video. Some of the design was not immediately intuitive to me.

You don't need to... if you have the. yarn on hand, you may be able to make it work. We did the prototype with #4 Medium Weight Yarn.
