Jann Arden should have taken up stand up comedy. She is SO funny! "When You Left Me" is one of the most stark, heart breaking songs I've ever heard. Such a great singer and song writer. A definite national treasure she is!

Oh my god, I laughed out loud. I love you both. I miss my rescued donkey, Sam Mule. He passed away in December 2010. Jann, love you and your love for animals. Rick, I remember watching you going out with park rangers into the bear's den and you cuddling the cub. I laughed out loud on that one, too. Best to you both.

"It's like getting a parrot... Those things live forever." hahaa YES Jann Arden, you have that right. My oldest African Grey is like 23 (almost as old as me) and she's energetic and clever as heck. They can live 40-60 years and my Cockatoos could live even longer than that, a potential 70 years or so. Parrots are not a light commitment and i tell everyone that! Donkeys are so so cute though, but loud ! I used to hear my neighbour's donkey about 3 km away when I was a kid. XD

CanadianRM4 I live here and it’s nice, but also not that great. I was born in Ontario and moved to Alberta 7 years ago. I live up north and it’s sooooo boring and isolated and the people are a little different to Ontario.

I had a Sad Donkey! Lol.

I know those Donkeys. Lots of people dont know that donkeys are awesome watch-donkeys in the Rockies. They protect horses and camp from Cougars, wolves, Coyotes etc. Dont mess with a Wartch-donkey
