Because he was there about the planes, the flying, AND his cars. Not the drama, stress and bs of running the company and dealing with the people. That's how. At the end of the day, he's a big hearted, kind man who is passionate about his interests. The television show put the wrong spotlight on him, a spotlight he didn't even want to be in.

Does Buffalo Airways ever hire women to fly as Ice Pilots? Just curious.
@EasternExplorer
8 жыл бұрын
+Leanne Strong They hire anybody who wants to try. Most don't make it to the co pilots seat though. At buffalo you don't just get hired as a pilot, you start at the very bottom doing the dirty jobs in the warehouse or driving a courier van and it can take months just to get on one of their planes.

If you watch the show you’d see at least 2 female pilots that were featured during the shows run (likely more over the years that we didn’t get to see). And as mentioned in these comments, they will hire people that can commit to working through the ranks without quitting and if they get only a few female applicants you can’t blame Buffalo

+Rick te Kronnie The show is filmed before a live studio audience. As part of his show, he shows these segments that he's done "out in the field" to that audience. It's definitely possible that they add a laugh track to that part, but I don't see why they would bother.
