I'm building my Rlaarlo AK917 into a brushless street-racer. Using Castle power and HPI Racing products, it really should go like a Porsche 917K!
Well... an RC version of a sorta, kinda 917K copy... ish.

Nah! I'm going to go for it! It's a kinda, sorta 917!
As a lefty I've never had a problem with a 'right' handed transmitter. When I drive a 1:1 size standard UK manual right hand drive car, my right hand's my steering hand and my left hand's for changing gear. Scaled down the transmitter controls fit the pattern for me. That's just me though, maybe if I was used to manual left hand drive it would be more of a niggle.

That's a very good point! Well, I'm glad you have it sussed, although I have come across lefties who do struggle with it.
Cool vid as always Mike. I was thinking of the wheels and tyres off the Tamiya TT02 Jagermeister Capri might be a nice fit . You could always drop the " R" and just call it the Laaarlo 😅Hope you guys are well

I don't think it's the first "R" that throws me, it's more than I'm only just recovering from the first "rl" and they throw a second "rl" at me!
Is that an Airsoft rifle on the window sill?
