I thought this car was a hoot with the stock 560 motor, but this 917 set up is ultra quick and smooth. I yes a great looker too! 🙌😎😝💯 Hope your doing well Dude. Keep up the great content!

Great to hear from you. Hope all is well. Smooth is most definitely the word. I’m loving this setup. Only issue is I don’t think I can fit a fan in there😂 it’s so tight under that shell. Take care friend.

Nice upgrades that chassis seems to be better for bash than the metal . And metal for speed runs over plastic

Oh yeah imo it’s far better. I wouldn’t even bash the metal chassis. I believe the 124008 comes with plastic steering links as well. I know this Limodgo did. Appreciate you checking in. Have a great day friend ✌🏼

I'd say you're right under the max for what a brushed motor should run at. 180F is probably the max safe temp, but yours looks like it could benefit from just a heat sink. Nice combo with the 917 wheels, too 👍 those joints should be good up to 60mph or so 🫡

Thank you for speaking on the temp. I wasn’t sure. I just knew it was way to hot and I probably shouldn’t run this setup much more without a heat sink and fan. Have a great day bro✌🏼

@Rangoli_rc yup, I was told that brushed can handle the heat better than a brushless, so there's that too. I don't know the recommended temps, but I would think 150-170f is normal for a warm/hot day 🤷
