Rivers State: Anyone that Sets Himself Against the Law is not Creating Crisis, but Felony - Wokocha

It's laughable that some people are calling for a State of emergency in Rivers State against the backdrop of some 'would-be felons' who confronted the sovereignty of Nigeria by abusing the Constitution of this nation regarding local government tenure.

This is very clear and unambiguously stated by this man. These 27 lawmakers shot themselves on their stomach by the affidavit they sworn under oath at the court, stating they have defected. That is a first-class court evidence and document sworn to and the court will never exclude it. They removed themselves from the house with that affidavit and the court will not look the other way in making a decision to protect that court document/affidavit

This professor is selective in his judgment, criticising one individual for illegal actions while praising another for the same behaviour. This inconsistency raises concerns about the integrity of the professor's actions, as intelligence without moral principles can lead to confusion and dishonesty. It's troubling such professor may use their intelligence for criminal purposes rather than seeking truth and justice.

He was told the implications of his actions, he is now disturbing public while the law shouldn't sanction him. He is now running to court to say please don't punish because of my actions... Court can not deliberate on a case that was not brought before it. The tenure elongation case was struck out by the high court in Rivers State, and it will never surface again. The case in court is mainly about the former lawmakers who defected from their party to another party and thereby lost their seats. This is case in the court of appeal and the laws they have passed since they defected to another party. These are the cases in the court of appeal.

The so called former lawmakers went to court and swore affidavits confirming their defections to another party. Even for them to come back to deny what they stated in their affidavits amounts to perjury. Which is a crime of its own and has jail term for that.
