"They want you to become dependant on oil" Very true. Here in the UK I have puzzled why solar energy is not encouraged, why the technology isn't being improved. I have come to the conclusion it is because the ones who want to control all the poor people want to keep us all oil dependant. I am a Christian, hope no-one will hold that against me, I don't feel comforable in church, the vicar tried to stop me praying for victims of child abuse and oppression.

The reason the vicar didnt want me to pray for the abused was probably something to do with the fact that he was a Jesuit priest (educated at Maynooth Roman Catholic college in Ireland) and he had been put in charge of a Protestant church. I complained to the Bishop of Lichfield and the Archbishops of Canterbury and York. @SadiePakistan Sometimes things will not make sense to us, but that doesn't mean that we leave Islamic aspects because they either don't make sense or do not benefit us in the short term. what we need to make sure is we stick to Islam no matter what the consequences.

Furthermore in surah alnisaa (4:21) marriage is described as a covenant (meethaq) and in Islamic Jurisprudence, only someone with intellectual and physical maturity can be a proper witness when signing a contract! Hence she could not have been that young.

There's no disputing the fact that Dinar and Dirham is mentioned in the Qoran. Just because it is mentioned makes it the only mode of doing transaction halal in the eyes of god .Is it explicitly mentioned that ANY OTHER MODE OF TRANSACTION READ PAPER MONEY is not acceptable and it would be haram. Please give the Ayat number if so. Did God not know that modern society would be using paper currency and if he knew and in his eyes it is Haram then he should have explicitly mentioned that any other form of transaction -paper currency -would be haram. Before the advent of Gold and Silver coins business transactions and day to day dealings were in Barter. As society evolved the transactions moved to Gold and Silver coins and further society progressed it came to paper currency. Had God been so against paper currency then he would have mentioned in the Torah, Bible and the Qoran. Please don't comment that the former has intrinsic value and the latter no intrinsic value. I very well know that.

I like his lectures I do disagree with some of his opinions but again he is allowed his opinions. I believe his analysis of gog and magog as the white man is way way way off, in 1400 years no one has ever said gog and magog is the white man from the caucuses and so is his understanding of tassawuf.
