Definitely my favorite song on Feral Roots... absolutely love this acoustic version. Jay's voice so powerful .... hopefully they add this version to the upcoming tour schedule.

@@amostlyreasonableguy Totally, and I'd pay big bucks for an intimate acoustic set like that. I just don't think it would work for a big gig. Too many people singing along (mostly off key)... don't get me wrong, I sang along (off key) at their last show...and will again at their next in October! I'm excited to hear the other songs they recorded at Haybale!

Jay's screams are just incredible, one of a kind, outstanding, i can't find a compliment to define what a masterpiece his voice is

I'm 58 years of age and music fanatic..and haven't been as excited or overwhelmed by a band in too long to remember. They are truly the real deal. Superstardom awaits. Feral Roots is a classic for the ages and Buchanans voice is legendary. Love love these guys.

57, I found them about 3 years ago. I saw them in 2019 in a small club in Sacramento. The Energy this band gives off is Amazing. I like your comparison to LZ, not necessarily in sound but originality. In Europe RS gets Big Time Love from the fans they draw, its evident watching YT vids. The way the fans sing- a-long, the band gets Overwhelmed, good stuff. ✌

I love this version, cause jay's voice sounds pretty tired, and at the same time sounds so deep and true.. looks like he's doing his best, after a long tour, after long travels... and this version, kind of bring he closer to us, .. thats fucking awesome..

True story, I saw them at house of blues in Chicago a few months back. I woke up the next morning with a scratchy throat, and was full blown terribly sick for a month. I noticed shortly after the show that they had cancelled a show 2 days later. I'm betting he recorded this version during that time. I would've thought just a slight cold, but as sick as I was after that show, I wouldn't be surprised if he was sick for a while.

@@johnwilles4636 fisr time i saw them a couple of years ago jay was sick as well and they had to cut the set short but all though jay was sick and was having problems with his voice i sounded just like the fucking record..... it was incredible

Jay's voice is wonderfully emotive, but actual vocals cannot touch Chris' range. That's because only a handful in music history could/can.

Jay I have no idea how you do it, but I'm sure glad you do.

Greatest band today. Greatest lead man today. This gave me chills.

I've listened to this at least 10 times now, and it never fails to slay me!

They sound awesome as always and Jay is definitely on point like always electric and fabulous!

It's been a pleasure to watch this band grow and finally now...they are just beginning to get the attention they have deserved for a long time. See you in sin city in October with the great STP
