Very hard working women. I love those pots. These used to be our coolers them days, water from them always tasted good and cool, and some pots are for cooking. How we didn't break them still remains a mistery to me😂😂😂. Thank you Jael, you are doing a wonderful job

Thanks for the great content. If possible show us other skills in your village. I am keen to learn about traditional skill that never get a place in the mainstream knowledge bulletins. Perhaps you could show us how the people of the village build their house, make baskets and if they do how they wave fabric for cloth and how they make natural dyes.

I think one mistake the ladies made while burning the pots was using all dry grass....that's why it burnt off so quickly. They should put a layer of green grass or shrubs on top. It will make it burn slower also traping the heat which will be better for the pots.

The lady invoked a powerful creative Luo female deity/God "Nyasai" when she set the fire up. Jael mistranslated the invocation as a prayer to the Christian patriarchal God 'Father above...' possibly because she's not familiar with her powerful ancestral luo spirituality.
