  • @SlowhandGreg

    That is nonsense immigration has gone through the roof because of brex1t we told you so in 2018 Historic examples include Britain’s decision to end the unrestricted entry of Commonwealth subjects in the 1960s, Germany’s experience with admitting temporary “guest workers” from the 1960s, and the US ending its labour program for Mexican workers in 1965. Drawing lessons from those experiences, the SMF predicted that ending EU freedom of movement and restricting EU nationals’ right to enter and stay in Britain for work will have precisely the opposite effect on immigration patterns to the one many Brexit supporters say they want.

To be honest, the sooner the better. The sooner they get voted in the sooner younger people can see how awful it is and the sooner they can get voted out again. Maybe next time when they get voted out they won't literally leave a note on the desk saying to the incoming tory govt, "Sorry there's no money left, we spent it." That was the cause of the austerity years, labour's fault, not the tories!

    Proudest achievement of the Sunak: 1. Absolute poverty: UK sees biggest rise for 30 years. The figure jumped to 12 million in 2022-2023, a rise of 600,000. 2. Britain’s record legal migration numbers. 3. We look at current government unfunded state pension and public pension liabilities and call it a ponzi scheme as it is unfunded and like to fall apart or more likely the amount promised may not be delivered. The UK government currently has almost £5 trillion worth of pension liabilities which it will have to pay in the future (£1.2 trillion for public service pensions and £3.84 trillion in respect of the state pension). Most of these are unfunded, meaning that they are largely paid out of annual tax revenues and the bill for them is being passed on to future generations because today’s government is not putting money aside to cover them.

    Who the hell though bringing Bailey in was good. The inflation is decided by banks independent of government 2. The labour party said they would negotiate better with Europe to setup safe routes and processing centers inside the union to process applications quicker by recruiting more staff. As for the tories how many are now millionaire's since they came to power ? We know Gulis is we know Boris is and sunik made over 100 million this year

  • @drdeadred851

    @drdeadred851

    28 күн бұрын

    Who cares how many millionaires there are? They get paid massive amounts per year and get a boat load of expenses, they have to try hard to not be millionaires or have just been voted in from total obscurity. 78% of MP's are apparently millionaires, its hardily some Tory exclusive thing and it has nothing to do with how competent or incompetent they are clearly. Why is trying to " negotiate better with Europe" now a good thing when the constant narrative before labour were likely to get in was "the uk is so pathetic trying to negotiate anything would never work, we just need to either do what they say or stay/rejoin." On what planet would the EU be willing to take our illegals from France back with either doing the same as france and pocketing massive amounts of money from us while doing realistically nothing or more likely they would expect us to pretty much just go "they are now legal because we swapped them around the EU's illegals" making it impossible to remove them, encouraging further illegal migration and potentially leading to us having even more than we would have. Not to mention how this set up would be further used as some weapon by the EU against the UK, I can already see the narrative of "well we're already sharing illegal migrants so why did we even leave? May as well rejoin or effectively rejoin unofficially by further and further binding agreements tying us to the EU"
