WOW WOW WOW!!! Son, great falsetto! I hope you go big in your singing career! And, mom, I loved 2:24-25! Well it's obvious where your boy gets his voice. Awesome job you guys. As I listened to it the second time and had my phone face down then picked it up, it was him singing. I couldn't tell the difference. No offense; but that's how good you are! The way your mum says UP when singing "rise up" My mum died a few years ago after a lonely last few years when her apparent friends stopped contacting her because she was disabled and no longer to party. Your relationship with your mum is beautiful man, she's a beautiful woman and that voice is soulful, pure and honest. This really touched my heart

Sorry your mum is best friend you could ever have bless you as you must have been awesome son.sadly I am unwell all time and abandoned by mine as they think I'm not ill although in hospital every 2 weeks for IV drip.since 2016 I've been suffering so badly. My own mam died 2006 and my heart aches still.only in last year could I put photo of her up and can look without crying.l agree about her friends they'd all keep in touch they didn't.even when she was in hospital for weeks and weeks visits dwindled except myself and my sister.l know how you feel.better to have spent time you did than not at all and clearly you loved her.xxx💙🙏💖

This song by you two was literally the last song my girlfriend of 13 years and I played together…she passed away only a few days later. It has been a difficult journey to which I believed I would never survive myself…but this morning, forcing myself to listen…for the first time since her passing…I’ve been tear struck and cannot stop listening and I now feel waves of tearful smiles and memories wash over me. Yes, Gayle, we will rise up! Thank you for this song. Singing with her children was a dream that Gayle kept dear and I am so glad to see you guys still at! Rise up…a thousand times!

Don't cut yourself short, Jordan...your voice's purity comes thru because you don't muddle it up too much with runs. And your mom's voice...well, she is in a league of her own! What a beautiful arrangement this is...to be enjoyed over and over.

These last 4 years of being around death, grief, and loss in the medical profession has honestly made me feel so lost, hopeless, isolated, and left in this void that I wasn’t sure if I’d ever get out of again until tonight. Thank you for making me feel. I’ve felt so numb this year, but your love, patience, acceptance and acknowledging the pain and loss and rising up to overcome it together anyway really impacted me tonight. Yes, dealing with a recent loss of a student...it makes me think of this song as helpful for her friends, family and even myself...to pick each other up and inspire each other through the days ahead...grief and memories.

Love your voices!!Anything that you 2 would sing would be a real blessing. I absolutely enjoy the little snippets that are in between the performances. This makes me smile.

Her voice brought tears to my eyes instantly. Only two other things have ever done that to me.

I use to sing with my mom . She passed away 😢. This brought memories of her her today. This mom and son made me feel chills until I got goose bumps. They were so beautifully amazing. I will play over and over. I loved it so much. When I heard this I did rise up and felt their singing and got into it .

I used to sing with my mom too. She died this March. 😪 She also used to make up silly songs. Now I find myself doing that and singing them to my dog.
