The way I feel is that Beyoncé stole the spotlight from the black country music artists who were already doing their thing and had songs on Pandora (as well as mainstream radio stations) and videos on KZread and other social platforms for YEARS now. Beyoncé is Regina George and that’s all there is to it. Beyoncé is overrated, but Tanner is a STAR! Make way for the buckle bunny, she’s coming through! 🫶🏼🤩🥰

In my opinion Beyonce doing Country will trickle down for years to come to these smaller artists. I won’t be listening to Beyonces new country album but I have been listening to and Supporting Tanner since last year. You’re right she is a star that shines bright.

You white people love to call Beyoncé overrated, but the truth is she’s the reason Black country artists like Tanner are finally being seen by people who wouldn’t have listened to country music in the first place. Beyoncé is the reason Tanner started showing up on my TikTok FYP and now I’m listening to her EP on repeat.

Girl you can hush. You're all over KZread and facebook slandering Beyonce for doing country music. If you don't like her then don't listen. She's brought the spotlight to more black and people of color in country music since she dropped her country songs! There is no spotlight to be taken because it's enough room for ALL of them. So give credit where it's due or move around. You're doing nothing more than lying to push an agenda.

Tanner I gonna say this. Please check Beyoncé track record. She had tarnish many females careers in the past. Your career will be on the back burner. I support the both of you as women of half black and half white😂😂😂😂. 5 years from now you’ll be saying Beyonce stole your career. But, she didn’t that’s her career of coping people styles.

🤦🏾‍♂️ This isn't country. It merely opens as country and then switches to Trap/Pop. The genre requires more than a "hay stack accent" and guitar. There's Dozens of actual, long running, and accomplished, black people in the country space. ✔️Diction/Dialect ✔️Vocabulary ✔️Drum tempo and swing. ✔️ Instrument Priority & Placement ✔️And authenticity of all the above.
