Right now I'm highly enthusiastic of Ancient history. I liked very much the last video on the Roman-Macedonian wars. But this video of the rise of Babylon is too good to be true. I like the Romans and the Diadochi, but I love this kind of history which is probably 10× less known than the afore mentioned ones. Keep it going, guys! Great job! I find distant bronze age history so fascinating. I know variety would be very limited but I'd love a Total War game set in this period, just covering Mesopotamia and the surrounding area. I have a suggestion to make, if I may: - When discussing conquests and/or troop movements in ancient history videos such as the present one, adding some way to give us a sense of scale for the distances covered, maybe a distance in miles/km and how much time it would have taken them, I think would really add serious tangible meat on your already very meaty videos. Just some way to give the watchers a sense of how much land was conquered/crossed. This sense of dimension could then be attached to the expenditure in Lives, both Human and Animal. I think it would be incredibly interesting, if even possible in the first place. :)

I don't think anyone was even living in Europe at that time. I mean, can anyone even survive the winter just by living in huts? Life there would be close to impossible. Also Rome didn't exist in 2100 BC.

There were huts even in Stone Age, and with a little fire and some people inside, they'd have been tolerably warm. kzread.info/dash/bejne/daZ1zrmQibvRlbw.html Outside, people could wear furs. Pretty primitive existence all in all, but they weren't naked savages freezing to death in caves.

Mycenae was starting to develop around this time in greece. The Hittites were growing too at this time. The pyramids were already roughly 1000 years old at this point. Sumar was the civilization that predates this area. Uruk, Ur etc, which were estimated to be about 3500bc.
There is a severe lack of wololo in this video.

I grew up in Baghdad and we learnt about mesopotamia in school and I even visited still these places. Your videos are still great addition to me. I hope you are going to make the next video eventually
