What I love about Orm is when he says “Not Your Highness, call me Ocean Master”, he’s become so corrupted by his own sense of power and pride he’s disregarded the need to be king. He would prefer to be known as the being who controls the greatest might of the seven seas as opposed to its ruler. Thus, making him one of the most terrifying villains on Earth.

That poor Fisherman Princess, not only was she young and without experience, her people were not war-like at all, combined with witnessing her father be murdered. Orm was a monster to inflict all this on her.

The Effects in this movie look Gorgeous but the real Killer is the Direction and Photography what an amazing movie from DC

Aside from Man of Steel, this is my favorite movie in the DCEU. Not only because of how a lot of it is pulled from the source material or how quirky some of the dialogue can be at times, but because of how they took a very underrated and laughable comic book hero and made him into a total badass. This is how I’ve always envisioned Aquaman. I remember seeing that moment at 1:38 in theaters and shedding a tear because it was like my hopes for what an Aquaman movie could be were greatly exceeded. I love Jason’s performance of the character, the villains, and how emotional it can get.

Damn, didn't know Mermaid Man was this epic during his youth.

This scene gladly takes me back to my childhood watching Kaijus like Godzilla and Power Rangers with the giant mechazord fights and the scaling just amazes me how in real life, so much of our oceans are unexplored knowing how deep they go because even giant underwater ships here look tiny compared to the Karathen. Every now and then when I get the chance to see this video in my recommendations, I don't hesitate watching it again as it never fails to give me goosebumps.

And, in a single epic battle scene, decades of jokes about Aquaman fell silent, never to question the King of Atlantis' ornate orange armor or powers to summon the greatest monsters of the deep ever again.

The score in this movie was terrific. One of the best in film

2:27 this shows why the Karathen respects Arthur.. not only that he can communicate with her, but if she fights for him and takes heavy damage that he'll also fight for her and protect her

James Wan transformed a cartoon meme into a badass hero. Way to go!!!!!

And this is why Aquaman is a badass. Let it be known that for all those who still think he is lame, Aquaman rules the Kingdom of Atlantis. An empire that controls 3/4 of the entire planet!

And this ovie doesn't even show half of the trident's powers. His trident not only commands the sea, it can shoot lightning bolts, cause tidal waves and control the weather as well as causing storms. Let's hope they explore that in future movies. PS: to all the people saying Aquaman is lame, one of his deadliest powers is that he can flood the entire Earth if he so wishes

Watching this film at the cinema was something l’m glad I experienced. It sent chills all over my body. It was THAT GOOD!! Easily made it into my top 5 fav DC films.

They apparently never think this would also mean sharks, whales, giant squids, and in the realm of fiction various forms of monstrous abominations. Hell in some cases said ability can even extend to land life and beyond through manipulating brain functions also found in fish. People are stupid what can I say.

When I first heard an Aquaman movie was gonna be released I was the first to say "That's gonna be a cringy shit show of a movie. Just imagine how dumb this dude gonna look" cause I genuinely didn't like how the cartoons looked. Anyways i'm pretty positive that was one of, if not the most inaccurate thing I could of predicted. This is actually one of my favorite movies of all time and it really sparked an interest for more DC content. Which I did find and was very pleased with. 10/10 would recommend.

@@varric Aquaman has always been popular within the actual DC community. We know he's an overpowered badass. It's just the general moviegoing audience (or Marvel stans) that assumed Aquaman was a lame-o who could only talk to dolphins and clownfish. You can blame Superfriends for that.
