Crew/rowing is such an underrated sport

FANTASTIC JOB !!!! Reading a book called "The Boys in the Boat". It's about rowing in the 1930's. Every single muscle in your body is engaged in competitive rowing as the video shows. Such power AND PAIN from the first stroke to the last. These ladies are just like thoroughbreds . I am in awe!!!

It feels like the US always tends to dominate the olympics in womens' events. With the majority of their total medal count coming from them it seems.

it's because the US is generally farther ahead in gender equality in sports! it's why our women's soccer team is so dominant too. it's pretty cool

With 320 million people they are one of the biggest countries, so it is normal to win many medals.

I know there were problem with high winds from the coast, but this was the best rowing venue of any Olympics.

I can’t wait to see Simone biles and Katie Ledecky and team USA at the gymnastics events and swimming events and women’s eight rowing final and rowing events at the 2024 summer Olympic Games in Paris France 🇫🇷

The point of painting your oars is to make it visible from a distance to help identify the crew. The american flag is very complex and hard to make out at distance, that's why most countries opt for a more minimalist design
