Rio Grande - Pattern Wire First Impressions

Let's talk Rio Grande Pattern Wires! I just purchased three new patterns for my new designs launching in October. I always find that seeing the wire in a video or in person helps so much with the buying process. Even with measurements it's really helpful to see the wire in action to gauge pattern and size. This is a first impression and look into the wires. I will update as I use these in my designs!
Item # 102133 - 3.89 x 1.60mm
A great wire for someone looking for a little added punch to a half round wire. It is on the flatter side of half round but it's wide enough to be used in rings, bangles, or double wired cuffs. I like this designs as there is room for lots of high polished plain areas. And the line work is deep enough to highlight when you oxidize the metal.
Item # 102118 - 2.87 x 1.45mm
I really love this wire. Probably the smallest wire in width I have worked with besides round wire gauges. This may be tiny but she is mighty. The pattern is beautiful even before oxidizing, a beautiful leafy flower pattern with a tiny beaded detail on the edges. This is great for smaller stones or even to make a stacking set. Durable as the height of 1.45mm gives this smaller width enough meat to be a stand alone band with or without stones.
Item # 102126 - 3.55 x 1.52mm
This wire is a bit harder to see the pattern on camera. It really shows best oxidized brushed as it has a lot of scroll and leafy patterns. A perfect size for an 8mm stone. A lot of reviewers say it resembles a paisley pattern and while it does somewhat it feels has a more leafy renaissance vibe to it.
I look forward to working with these wires more and more and updated you guys on my overall thoughts of these patterned wires from Rio Grande.
