[Nepal and English with English subtitle] One of the key challenges in achieving gender equality by 2030 is an alarming lack of financing with a staggering USD 360 billion annual deficit in spending on gender-equality measures.
UN Women Nepal, in collaboration with Global Compact Nepal, International Finance Corporation, Nepal Stock Exchanges, and United Nations Nepal, joined forces to ‘Ring the Bell for Gender Equality’ on 29th March 2024, to accelerate public and private investments to meet national and global commitments on gender equality and women’s economic empowerment.
