People are really downplaying how bad sharvara to 1 is. Your options are now 1. run even more garnets that can pretty much hard lose you the game if you draw them or 2. use your yama turn 1 (which you'll still have to do half the time because of the bricks). Not only does the line end on significantly worse boardstates, it destroys the only things that made unchained even remotely competitive (many varied points of interation, recursion in the event of evenly, grind potential in a midrange deck, etc.) . It just gets cooked by every handtrap AND board breaker now, assuming you even open playable (tour guide+shavara is now awful if you don't happen to draw backrow for instance)

Why play upstart tho? Very minor consistency boost at the cost of being weaker going 2nd and playing less extenders/defensive cards. Ppl aren't even playing one upstart for a reason.

I've been saying this list feels like a yugituber made it. Now that you pointed out runicks didn't get hit and only cards off the list. Joshua and Konami collaborated. Crazy how Josh won and non of his cards got hit, but our American world champ won with Dragon Link Bystials and deck get axed right after.

Pretty glad they didn't hit Lab since it's been on its way out until very recently, plus I feel like the hits to that deck should be D Barrier and/or Eradicator rather than the engine because the engine itself isn't the issue.

Playing Upstarts when they need the space for Thrust, Bystials and the new Main Deck monster coming out is probably not a good idea anyway. Unless you bump the deck size to 43 to make room for extra siding or something.

@@metalmariomegayou dont play upstart in anything more than 40 cards lists. The whole idea about upstart is to raise your odds of drawing wanted engine/starter cards. Its all about statistics. Either you play upstart in 40 or you don’t play it unless you wanna do sth funny (which also is totally fine)

I think it's hilarious how MD completely ignored Circular just for the TCG to come out and kill it. It was absolutely necessary though. Even if Circular wasn't dominating right now it was WAY too generic and completely warped Cyberse decks moving forward. It had to go to make room for new strategies.

Isn't obvious why people lost to sunavalon skill issue and the blatant refusal of taking all top decks seriously and not just the most consistent toppers just like marincess and other decks that will come in the future people will lose and it will always be a skill issue.

Sharv hit is perhaps the lamest hit in Yugioh history. Card was skillful and now the deck is prob half as good as it was before

I don't think we'll ever see nobles topping again unfortunately, I'm so sad for isolde getting banned because I don't think she deserved it, I mean it was easily countable, ash, impermance, veiler, stops her so I don't get why people complained so much for a card just like many others, I think the deck now it is just bad, not worthy playable, tears is not dead because lightsworn will bring it back to life, but nobles is gone.. That's unfair..
